"There were things I liked and didn’t like about this stay. The staff were really friendly, the drinks at the bar were cheap, the locals were really friendly and very social. The breakfast was good the next day and in hindsight, we should have had dinner here as it all looked home made and reasonably priced. The negatives were that the place itself is so rundown, I don’t know how it survives as we didn’t see any other guests. The whole place needs a makeover, including the outside area. The room...

"Conveniently placed in a shopping centre with free parking available. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and fine for an overnight stay. Plenty of options for breakfast and dinner nearby. "A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. "This is a chalet type hotel with rooms away from the entrance block, similar to the US motel type that can be seen in films. This is the most basic of accommodation. The bed was comfy with a television for entertainment. The bathroom was unsatisfactory but just about tolerable for the one night that I stayed there. The hot water was nice and hot, bordering on scalding, but when I added the cold on the shower, the pressure dropped to a dribble - totally useless! I ended up doing a hand wash from...

"This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...
