"A really unique and cozy stay close to attractions, the dunes, and a small beach. The fireplace was a big draw for me in the listing so I was disappointed to read it wasn't functional but everything else was great. The stove didn't work but the owner offered to have it serviced while we were there or to bring over a toaster oven. She was very responsive and I'd stay there again for sure! The outdoor areas are superb and the beds were super comfy."

"Very happy with our stay. Plenty of room for 13 of us, close to a store and ice cream. Pretty views and plenty of parking."

"The house was great with plenty of room. The massage chair was a hit. There was a trampoline dock for the kids to play on. The view of the dunes was stunning. Silver Lake is so beautiful of an area, we love the dunes."

"Great place, right across the street from the water and right down the street from the dunes. One thing i would do before traveling is see what days things are open, a lot of stuff is closed sunday through Thursdays. The cottage has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. Plenty of plates and silverware. There are some lawn chairs for sitting next to fire. No washer or dryer, but can wash things in the sink and hang on the 2 clothes lines, they provide clothes pins. The beds are not...

"The house was wonderful and such a great location right at the lake and nearby the local Silver lake stores. The house was well supplied with all the cooking, lake and fun supplies needed. The place was clean and nicely furnished with plenty of room for everyone on each bedroom. "

The only negative is that the listing states private pool and beach access within this community, however we never found it and there were no directions provided on how to get there. The location is unbeatable: just steps from the sand, with breathtaking ocean views from the deck.Every detail was thought of — from the fully stocked kitchen (we even found a blender for our morning smoothies) to the soft, hotel-quality linens. We loved waking up to the sound of waves and ending the evenings watching sunsets...

"House is a fantastic location to dunes access. There were a few days we needed to head back to the house and it was great being able to walk. It is furnished with basic items you need. The VRBO site states king bed in master, but it is a much smaller bed. No complaints, but just sharing information. There was plenty of parking for our truck and trailer plus our Bronco. The host is very responsive to messages and so very accommodating if needed. Great house with great location to dunes...

"Great location close to the dunes and our favorite place to eat the chicken shack! Very clean and private woodsy area with plenty of parking for our toys. Kitchen had everything we needed and water pressure was great after a day at the beach. Spent alot of time around the fire pit and would definitely stay here again."
