"This cabin was the perfect for me and my pet to rest in between hiking! It was private, clean, rustic and quaint. I honestly wanted to live there forever! Also, loved visiting the spa! Cannot wait to come back"

"Wonderful place to stay and beautiful view of the lake and surrounding area. Easy drive to GORE Mt. for skiing. Owner was wonderful, extremely helpful and friendly. 5 STARS FOR SURE!!"

"The property was pretty and private, with a beautiful view. Very quiet town. The cabin was clean, updated, and nicely decorated. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft! The owner was very friendly and checked in with us when we arrived. There was a storm the night before we were to check out and they had the driveway plowed quickly. They were also nice enough to offer a later check out time to make sure we could leave safely. Close to Oak Mountain for skiing!Definitely recommend!"

"We were greeted by 2 dogs before the host met us at the office door when we arrived and we stayed 3 comfortable nights. It was chilly weather but we had a thick comforter on our bed so we could enjoy the fresh air and still be warm. We had pizza with our host the first night and there were coffee shops for breakfast and coffee in the towns nearby we visited over the next few day. "Wonderful quiet location in the woods. The cabin had everything we needed, we brought a laptop to stream videos at night when we were in and the area was great for hiking with the dog. Cell service was spotty all over the area but the cabin had excellent internet/wifi and a landline."

"Property was beautiful, pics do not do it justice. Everything you could need was supplied, and plentiful. The area is absolutely beautiful and to top it all off we were visited by several deer every day.Do not hesitate to stay here, you will not regret it."

"We rented the main house and guest house for a ski trip with our kids and some of their college friends. Upon arrival, the place was spotless! There was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. Guest house was also perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Gore mountain very close also convenient to supermarket and a few restaurants. Only minor issue was inconsistent water pressure which is not unusual in ski / lake houses like.this. Would definitely rent again "

"Small but cozy building from early 20th century with add on living room and bathroom. Some of the instructions didn't match the reality ( lights on ,no wifi pw needed) . No tv,wifi was spotty.propane ,electric and space heating provided and heavy comforters.15 minutes from gore mt 25 to town with stores and restaurants. Need 4wd in winter due to gravel roads.Good value . Was warned about dog who woke us up barking outside wimdow at 10pm. Looks like it would be fun in warm weather with Hot tub...
