"This was a family trip to visit family nearby. We stayed 2 nights, it was so relaxing. Sitting on the porch enjoying the river was our favorite part. "Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! "We really enjoyed this location this year, we have stayed at others before, but this one is by far the nicest. Beds are all comfortable, and the location is good for fishing Walker Creek and the New River. And the local friendly dog came every evening to hang out. He loves Hot dogs!"

"Easy access to shopping and grocery store. Comfortable surroundings. Beautiful nature and lots of birdsong. The chickens free ranging on the property is a plus. Love it! Highly recommend for small group of adults and maybe school age children. We were three adults. The bunk bed is a bit tricky on the top bunk for an adult. The queen bed is very comfortable."

"This was a great place to stay. Great view of the river on the great deck. The house was perfect for the family. I would definitely like to rent for another time. We will be coming down in the fall to go to Va Tech football games and will try to rent again."
