"My husband I recently stayed at Old Church Farm for 3 nights. Our visit can be summed up as first class! From the excellent communication before arrival to the moment we arrived and beyond, Christopher (the proprietor) made sure we felt right at home. Whether it was recommendations on local eateries or a nightcap before bed, everything we needed was seemingly at our fingertips. The hospitality and personal touch was worth the visit alone. "Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place."

"Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️"

"Well equipped, comfortable accomodation with lots of areas to relax and take in the views. Done premium wine tasting and tour and would throughly recommend this and a stay. "

"Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up."

"Loved our stay , I struggle with eating out because I am free from dairy and gluten, but the staff were very kind and made sure I had a meal made which I could eat. Very polite young staff members too. 5 star ⭐. "

"Very comfortable property. Had all that you needed for a comfortable stay. The extras in the fridge (orange, bread, milk) were great along with the bits for tea and coffee. Great location. Would recommend."

"Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. "

"Such a lovely hotel. The room (10) had a big wow factor. I forgot we were in a chain - the hotel and room have a proper boutique feel to them. I honestly can’t fault a thing about our stay and have already recommended to friends. "
