YOUR PRIVATE SUITE 🏡
Room 5 has two separate sleeping rooms for up to 6 guests, a small entrance hall and one private bathroom serving both rooms. Room 5.1 has a king-size bed and double sofa bed. Room 5.2 has a 140 cm-wide double bed and wardrobes. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower and bidet. Your suite is private; communal areas of the family villa are shared with other guests.

SHARED SPACES
Enjoy the shared kitchen, snooker table, piano, guitar, library, lounge, patio and BBQ. Please respect other guests and quiet hours, 23:00–07:00.

HILLSIDE SETTING & HISTORIC STAIRS
Our family villa is over 300 years old and follows Sintra’s hillside. Access involves descending three flights of old stone stairs and climbing them again when heading out. The bedrooms are one storey above the exterior ground, with windows overlooking greenery and the street; they are not basement rooms. Please consider the stairs, luggage and mobility needs before booking. When your check-in video is sent before arrival, please watch it to see the access route.

We take great care to keep the rooms thoroughly cleaned and welcoming, with carefully chosen, high-quality mattresses and pillows for a restful stay. Our family is happy to help through your booking chat, so please ask if you have questions before booking or during your stay.

We are a small family home and are happy to help through the booking platform. Your stay is self check-in. Please message us for assistance, food orders or special requests; requests depend on availability and confirmation.

Stay in Sintra’s historic centre, among old lanes, traditional cafés and green hills. Discover the National Palace of Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira and the town’s distinctive architecture, then return to a welcoming 17th-century family villa. The surrounding landscape is hilly, with slopes and steps; allow extra time for exploring and wear comfortable shoes.

Explore the historic centre on foot. Trains connect Sintra with Lisbon, and local buses and taxis serve the surrounding area. For attractions farther uphill, including Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle, plan transport and admission in advance. Driving and parking in the old town can be difficult. Read the arrival and parking instructions for your reservation before travelling and contact us if you need help planning your arrival.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Self check-in from 15:00; check-out by 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out each cost €15, subject to availability and prior confirmation. Private access instructions are sent before arrival.

GOOD TO KNOW
This is a private suite in a shared historic home, not an entire house. There are three flights of stairs on the access route and no step-free access to the suite. Children and infants are welcome; adults must supervise them near stairs and elevated windows. Pets are welcome under our house rules, with a €35 pet fee per stay. The cleaning fee is €25 per stay; fees already paid through your booking must not be paid again.

Smoking is permitted only in outdoor areas such as the patio or balcony, never inside bedrooms or any indoor area. Please keep noise low between 23:00 and 07:00. Optional breakfast costs €12.50 per person and should be requested at least 24 hours ahead; extras are not included in the room rate.
