PG Beach House - Luxury Sea Front View

PG Beach House is a luxury vacation home. With modern and new facilities (opened June 2018), this space was designed for families or groups of friends who want to be close to everything but away from the noise.
Located in front of Praia Grande Beach, you can enjoy a breathtaking ocean front view. You can walk to the beach, it takes five minutes. If you prefer to stay at home, take advantage of our 10mx 5m heated pool where you can swim freely or just soak in the water mirror. Around the pool you can sunbathe on the snoopers or relax with total privacy.
Enjoy the plants of our lush gardens with centuries-old olive trees or have fun with the kids at the Giant Chess Playground.
This house has 5 bedrooms, 3 with sea view and 2 with Sintra Mountain views.
On Floor 0, you will find 2 bedrooms, with air conditioning, with a support toilet which, due to their architectural barrier-free features, can easily accommodate people with reduced mobility. Still on this floor, you will find a large living room with American kitchen (150m2) with a view of the sea. The terrace in front of the living room has 250m2 and right next to it you will find the barbecue, fully equipped, both with the same total sea view.
On 1st Floor, you will find 3 more bedrooms with air conditioning, two of them with a front sea view and one overlooking the Serra de Sintra. Each of these rooms has its own private bathroom.
The decor was executed thinking of a sophisticated and relaxing environment. The sheets and towels are of the best quality, everything to take care of your comfort.

The house was beautiful! Very clean and spacious. Beautiful view. Great amenities. After a long trip it was so nice to have coffee and snacks waiting for us. Very walkable. Big table for our family to eat and play games. Host was very responsive when communicating and Ketan was great with check in. PoolWas awesome!

Comfortable, clean pool house

This was a clean, comfortable house. Check-in and out were seamless and host had a nice selection of foods waiting when we arrived, which was so nice! House was super comfortable - kitchen well appointed and couches super comfy. Pool was nicely heated, which was key because weather was pretty terrible for the first half of our stay. Only issue we had was that we picked this house because of its proximity to the beach. But, the house is a 20 minute walk (at least) to the nearest beach.

Wonderful Stay at PG Beach House!

We had an amazing stay at PG Beach House! The location is perfect, just a short walk to a beautiful Praia Grande beach. The house is spotless and stylish, with stunning ocean views from the living room and deck. The fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms made us feel right at home. The hosts were fantastic—responsive and welcoming, with great tips for local attractions. We loved the thoughtful touches like the welcome basket and beach gear. High-speed Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer were big pluses. Overall, PG Beach House is a gem! Perfect for families or couples looking for a relaxing beach getaway. Highly recommended!

Perfect in every way

The photos don’t quite do it justice although they give a fairly good feel of what to expect. Very spacious and well equipped, super comfortable, and perfect for our family (7 adults and a baby). The pool was great as it has a shallow area along the whole length, and there was just so much outside space for everyone to relax and enjoy the break. Sofia was a wonderful host, very responsive, and Ketan the house manager was also great to deal with. Some beach towels and soap that were missing on arrival were very quickly brought to us by Sofia. The bbq area was great and the views of the ocean were just magnificent.

Amazing stay in Colares

Sofia’s home is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. The views are incredible and the heated pool was an absolute bonus. It’s a short walk to the beach, to town and to a number of different restaurants in varying price ranges. The house was clean and the house manager was fantastic and a great resource. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful as always!

This was the second time we stayed at Colares and we plan on coming back again. The house is fantastic, the location outstanding and with the wonderful Ketan always ready to assist you with anything, we could not imagine a better place to spent our holiday with extended family.

Amazing views and beautiful property

We are a group of 8 friends who stayed here to celebrate our 50th birthdays together. The property was extremely spacious so there was always somewhere to escape to of needed. Brilliantly equipped and super clean. We didn't have a hire car so the only downside was the 15 mins walk to the supermarket.

Weather poor but house very nice

Weather was terrible - this apparently is not unusual for the area during summer months - a bit like the fog of San Francisco. We went to other locations - about 30 minute drive to get sun. House was good with a few minor issues like no clothes dryer which is essential for a large group. Some lovely touches- soft towels and plenty of them, nice food and wine when we arrived, mid week cleaning , robes.

Beautiful villa with amazing views. Great location, the beach and local shop only a 5-10 walk away. Only negative, there was no direct access to the pool from the back of the house and patio area, only access is via the front door. Overall, a wonderful family holiday villa.

Family Vacation in Portugal

For our 40th anniversary, we planned an extravagant overseas trip with our two daughters and their young families. Kids 5,3,2 and 1. We have traveled together the last 5 years and this was the very best. The home was perfect. Large, simple design, spacious rooms, easy to maintain and the pool has a safety door for the house. Still easy to access but no stress. The beach access was close but we were happy to have a car for moving little ones. House had all amenities and extras. Plenty of towels, and cleaning supplies. The sunsets and pool decks were sublime. We were thrilled the town was not overdeveloped but access to great take away and supermarket were easy. This was a perfect trip and the owners helped us at every turn with transportation connections. Sintra palace was minutes away and a day trip into Lisbon / Cascais was fun too. Thank you for a memorable 10 days. Highly recommend!

Incredible beach week

Great house and pool ( heated!) The view was fabulous. The little beach town had great waves for surfing and enough restaurants to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Nice location to launch to Sinatra and other sites. Spectacular host and property manager - will definitely be back!

Luxurious Beach Holiday with extended family

We stayed at the Beach House with extended family and are already discussing coming back, we enjoyed it so much. Ketan greeted us warmly and we felt very well taken care of during our stay. We wished for an additional appliance and got it delivered within a few hours. We enjoyed the spacious layout of the house with spectacular views over the ocean. Beds are high end hotel quality (and there are hair driers in all the bathrooms). Our kids would have spent all day every day in the heated pool if we had let them. The beautiful (surf) beach is only a short walk away. Highly recommend this property for a fantastic beach holiday!

Amazing view and house

The house is located in a small charming village, just in front of ocean. Very comfortable house, and we were very welcomed by Ketan and all the amenities he left for us. The pool was heated so we could swim everyday. We highly recommend this place ! Just 40 minutes fromLisbon.

Beautiful view!

The house was bright and spacious. Great for our group of adults and children. The huge outside patio area was perfect for little kids. The pool was wonderful because Colares is cool and it was always warm. We could enjoy it anytime. The bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen could do with a bit more counter space but the dining and living area are spacious and lovely to spend time in. We had a wonderful time and the house was a perfect retreat.

Beautiful memories to treasure

After an intense COVID-19 lockdown we were looking for a safe and clean place for my family to enjoy fresh air and nature. We found this place and we couldn’t be happier. Tremendous view over the sea and sunsets. A huge property with spacious rooms, a massive TV with good sound system in the living room and an amazing heated swimming pool. Extremely clean and the hosts, Sofia and Ricardo, couldn’t be better. We strongly recommend this place if you want to create beautiful memories with your family.

Can I give more than 5 stars?

From the moment I saw the pictures online, I knew this property was special. The owner Sofia was in constant communication after we booked and the property manager Ketan was a breeze to work with. When we arrived at the property we were amazed at the views of the ocean and the setting sun. As we dug deeper into the property we were absolutely pleased with the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. We visited the property with our two young children who loved the proximity of the beach and the large yard. Another great feature was good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We loved Bar do Fundo which was right on the beach. There is also a Michelin starred restaurant about a 15-20 minute drive away. The beds were comfortable, there were snacks and drinks when we arrived, I could go on and on about how much we loved this place. My only regret is that we should have stayed longer and hopefully we will get the chance to in the future. This would be perfect for a week or even two!
