"I needed a quiet, affordable place to work on a writing project and booked at the last minute (literally, I booked and immediately got in the car and drove three hours to the cabin). "If you are looking for a house on the beach, this house is it! Lake Huron is literally in the backyard. Stunning views from the large windows in very spacious living room and dining area. "Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well. "10 out of 10!!!!! Such a Beautiful Rental inside and out & Property!! We had such a wonderful, peaceful weekend at the River House!! All you need to bring is your clothes and food, Jen has the cottage filled with everything and anything you could possibly need!! Had so much fun fishing too! Caught 3 fish on one cast on a double hook lol Jen is an Amazing host too!! And the beds and bedding are so COMFY!!! Just a Beautiful home!! We can’t wait to go back very soon!!"
