"I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay"

"Ok for short stay. AC did not work well in room and drains in shower and sink were clogged. Fridge in room not very cold."

"Everything was as my wife and I had hoped, clean room, two pillows each, well-lit parking lot, easy to use TV, and a very helpful staff."

"I checked out after seeing my room. The owner refused to refund my money! The facility was not updated as advertised. The pictures where staged. The appearance of the room was not even close except for the wallpaper behind the bed! I had to drive further down to stay at the Days Inn which was much nicer. Advice to future travels, keep driving! Very dirty!"

"The Lafayette Inn is a beautiful mansion, with lovely gardens, a welcoming entry and living area and fabulous staff. We were very pleased with our 3-night stay. Breakfast options were plenty and Kristen prepared the egg bites and pastries to perfection. The snacks, cookies, coffee, filtered water were amenities not often scene. The king room was comfortable and roomy. We highly recommend the Inn."

"Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known...

"Staff was great. Property was not what we expected. Mattress on bed was not good at all, cabin had a strong odor and needed more thorough cleaning."

"The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help."

"The suite was dirty very dirty"

"Very little for breakfast Got woke up by loud talking at 2:45am Sunday morning called.the front desk they said it was a wedding party didn’t really care the party continued upstairs .When I complained again at 8:am they were more concerned that there was no damage from the party .When I called Tuesday morning as requested I was told the recording was only people talking by the elevator. I would not recommend to anyone who wants to get sleep"

"Nice place for an overnight or 2. My big complaint is that our room smelled terribly of cigarettes and there were no other rooms available. The smell dissipated after a day but it was very bad to start. I will definitely stay here again but will make sure Its a nonsmoking room."
