Darjeeling House In Leura

Extensive wood paneling and polished floors, completely modernized eat in kitchen, large verandah overlooking the garden are just a few features of this wonderful home. Modern upgrades include central heating as well as a slow combustion fire, separate TV room (with two smart TVs one in the eat in Kitchen).
A new oven went in just recently
The Dining table has been upgraded to seat 12 guests when expanded
we have added a Out door 7 person Spa

French doors open on to the verandah which has an area to dine out in with a large BBQ to hand.

All long weekends are a minimum 3-night stay, all public holidays are charged at the weekend tariff, and Easter is a minimum 4-night stay.

All beds will be made with quality linen before your arrival including doonas, pillows, bath towels, bathmats & hand towels. Tea towels are also provided for the kitchen.

Short Stay at Leura

A very enjoyable stay .House was terrific .Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils , glassware ,pots pans etc .Beds were comfy lovely grounds . Our only negative was a step at the back door area was quite uneven and caused our grandaughter to slip ,not once but twice .She had a sore rib area from falling .Step needs to be replaced

Spacious and Cosy Getaway

Our friends were visiting from far and wide, and we wanted to have a place where we could catch up, play board games, and cook. We really enjoyed the common spaces, fireplace, and large kitchen to cook for the weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The only challenge was trying to optimise heating during the night as it was varying temperatures in each room. I would recommend providing scrubbers for cleaning as we sometimes struggled to clean some of the larger pots and pans as not all of them fit in the dishwasher. Great location and close to amenities. We were 5-10mins away from tennis, and bushwalking!

Perfect mountains retreat

Beautiful house with plenty of room. In great condition and very clean. House had most things that were needed. Gorgeous deck on side of house. Huge! Lovely gardens and property. Our only disappointment was the beds. They were terrible and we needed up dragging our mattress onto the floor to get a better sleep. All in all, a great property and lots of space.

Family mountain holiday

As a 3 generation family who have stayed in many Blue Mountain homes this one has ticked all the required bases really well. A large well equipped kitchen with a huge island bench made for easy breakfasts. A TV room where the kids could hang out while adults enjoyed quiet chats. The enormous deck has a ?12 seat table with a great BBQ. 3 bathrooms made life easy in the mornings It was 48 Degrees when we arrived but the house was amazingly cool. And all beds were very comfortable. Prompt communication from Ali was great. Will be looking to book again.

Lovely house for a big family weekend getaway. Great kitchen for entertaining beautiful log fire.

Easy check in, comfortable drive from Sydney. Well equipped kitchen, central heating worked well. Log fire kept the dinning room warm all night. We had a lovely relaxing family weekend away, thanks.

Large picturesque property in the heart of Leura

The property is massive with a surrounding garden and plenty of room to relax. Had a group of 11 adults, and all had plenty of space. Impressive kitchen, and large deck.

Wonderfully Equipped & Spacious House

Fantastic atmosphere, garden, furnishings and facilities

We loved Darjeeling House but as tea drinkers were disappointed not to have a teapot and tea cosy. We are not coffee pod users so a plunger or stove top coffee maker would have been appreciated, as would some woollen throws for the lounges to let us snuggle up by the fire or to watch TV. We would have enjoyed a few good quality coffee table or reference books about the Blue Mountains - the indigenous people, white explorers and settlement, flora and fauna etc. Having said that, we will definitely come again and recommend it to our friends.

A lovely home for a family weekend

The house was very comfortable and served our purposes well. We were 7 adults and 4 teenagers and there was more than enough space for us all to do what we wanted. A real highlights was breakfast on the terrace for 11 and we very much appreciated how well the kitchen was kitted out so that meal preparation was easy and fun. Some feedback though to make it better for future guests : There were not enough beds made up for our party, nor towels put out. Fortunately we had taken some of our own pillows, sleeping bags and towels so it did not effect our stay. Also, a french coffee press would be sensible as for a short stay having to buy very specific coffee pods is a pain. We used and cleaned the bbq and it would have been a lot easier if there was more appropriate cleaning materials. None of this spoilt our stay - we had a comfortable and good time. Thank you!
