"Very welcoming stay, gave us privacy and clear instructions, very clean and good water pressure. The gate and couple made me feel safe and secure while traveling as young woman. Would 100% stay again. Located close to the volcanos and black sand beach."

"The space is beautiful inside and out, we struggled with the gate lock the first couple of times we used it, it started to loosen up the more we used it. The frogs come alive at night and give you a symphony. If you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping bring ear plugs. We will absolutely stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, easy to check in, plenty of amenities including pool towels, pool toys and some snacks!"

"It was a fantastic location. The only thing I would say is that there should be a designated smoking area away from building. With windows open it is hard to not breathe it when right below your window. The homey touches were wonderful."

"This is my second time I wanted to show my granddaughter why her Nana is moving to Hawaii and this is one of the places she fell in love with her. I fell in love with the place has been renovated, so it’s very shiny and clean, but only takes secondsplace when it comes to the view always moving. Unpredictable and so much marine life this time we saw dolphins and turtles. The Dolphins were showing off. I’d like to share some of the pictures of this home and I must say the pictures do not do it...

"Excellent property for a quiet stay. Close to the national park and Hilo, with a semi rural feel! Great management with quick service. "

"Wonderful cottage nestled in a rainforest setting, far back from the road. It was clean, comfortable, ample towels and bedding/blankets. Every room had night lights and switches were clearly labeled. Perfect for two couples, matching en-suite bedrooms. And so close to Hawaii Volcanoes NP, made it easy for us to be there early. Sorry we didn't plan a longer stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples! Craig and Patti are great hosts. Patti notified us about the Kilauea eruption. Unfortunately we missed the show because...

"Coqui frogs were a nice lullaby. Warm (fans only), but we weren’t there during the day, so not too bad."

"I loved the secret garden the owner had constructed! The property could be a bit tricky to find, I would recommend to check in before dark. There are great dining options nearby, including vegetarians."

"A nice house at the end of the road, well equiped, full of character. Two nice bedrooms and a quaint layout in the on the 1st floor. Location was amazing in Volcano just a few minutes from the park. "

"We LOVED our 2 night stay here. It was so relaxing and exactly what was described. It was a bit of nature, fruit trees and peace. We had excellent communication with the hosts. The outdoor shower was pretty cool. We really can’t say enough good about it. Will 100% stay here again when returning to Hilo side of the island."

"This place is the perfect experience for off grid forest relaxation. The hosts are amazing people. We loved the property and fell asleep peacefully to all the sounds of the forest. The plant diversity is wonderful, and the fruit was delicious! This was exactly what we were looking for! "

"This property was so cute and the perfect size for a couple. The proximity to Volcano NP is a highlight point! It’s exactly as described in the post and the dehumidifier was a game changer. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back!"
