"Room was nice but in need of update, bed base was ripped and cushions were stale and in need of a wash. It was good to have a fully stocked fridge Bathroom was lovely and a good size. Breakfast was good but disappointing to have to pay for fresh coffee. The coffee in the table flasks was not the best. Overall hotel is nice and I have stayed here many times but could do with a few tweaks here and there."

"The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...

"No private parking just on street free parking to front if you are lucky to get it if not close by to a public car park. Lovely quiet warm room with comfy bed. "A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price. Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds. "

"Room at first was ok. Then waking up in the hour feeling as we were bitten I had red mark that have now puffed so my taking antihistamines. On closer inspection was bed bugs are we killed a few of them leaving the blooded remains on the pillows. We divided to shower and leave the place by 1.30 in the morning.
