"Took myself a little "man" retreat here to spend some focused time on a project. I setup on the huge patio. Internet was great. Outdoors was quiet, especially later in the evening when there was next to no traffic on the nearby road. It was just absolutely perfect in every way. I saw old reviews mention the bed needing replacement and I believe that it has been as it was also perfect."

It has something for everyone to enjoy and the owner keeps adding more fun things to do. This is the best owner of all the houses I have rented over the years. He is very responsive to any questions you have before and during your stay. You will love it to I promise !"

"I would have loved to given the place 5 stars cause it’s a beautiful place & Robbie the host is such a nice man. We will go back!!! Only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness is: The outdoor kitchen needs the gas grill replaced cause the bottom is rusted out & needs a little more TLC."

"We have stayed in this house four or five times and always love our time there. My husband and I have stayed there by ourselves as well as with friends. The property is always immaculate. We love the three porches, a glass enclosed, screen enclosed, an open one. Lots of room for relaxing and watching deer. You might take your folding chairs for the dock, which is another nice place to sit. We highly recommend this house! "

"It met all our needs. We didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we wanted to, because we were there fir a wedding and most of our time was spent at the venue. "

"Beautiful spacious home with fully equipped kitchen with gas and charcoal grill. Provided everything we needed. The beds and pillows are so comfortable. Have a nice pier to fish off of and tie your boat there. My husband prefers a boat slip, which we rented down the street called Big Al barefoot marina for a very reasonable price. You would launch your boat there anyway. Caught a lot of fish even in the very windy conditions. Had a great time and will be back. Michelle W.Katy, Tx"

"We came down to fish the lakes in the area and booked a cabin here because of its proximity to the lakes. Check-in was easy and very accommodating, and the place was incredible.The fishing at the local lakes was a bust, but the hosts and stay at Greer farm made the trip. Highly recommended! "

"The home was very clean and offered plenty of space for our group. However, there was a strong smell. Maybe from being shut up for an extended period of time? One of the boys in our group said “it smells like old people in here.” I would have to agree that it was definitely a smell like an older home has sometimes. Not as well stocked as many similar properties we’ve stayed in, but had a few items handy (paper towels, toothpaste, soap). One big one is coffee! There is a pot and filters, but...
