"We had such a great, relaxing stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every detail inside and out was gorgeous. We fully enjoyed having a drink out on the patio area right after we checked in and staying up late at the bar and talking to the guy who managed the property. We found out he grew up around San Jose which is close to us. He really made our first night so enjoyable. Our room was beautiful, very clean and quiet. Staff were awesome, music in the bar was mind blowing, rooftop bar was fun - but we were shocked by the amount of "TAX" that were added on to our stay - Amenity Fee, State Tax, Convention and Tourism Tax, City Tax, and a Parking Tax on top of the Valet service. It won't deter us from recommending the place, or returning - it was just an unexpected surprise."

"What a beautiful property! VERY quiet and peaceful. Be aware that there is no elevator and you have to walk up a high steep flight of stairs with your luggage if you’re on the second floor. Also, there’s no staff apparent. You enter the front door and room door with a code. But if you had a problem, you just texted their phone and someone answered promptly to help. As I left I ran into the cleaning person. She was SO nice and friendly. We chatted a bit and at the end she gave me a hug. So...
