"My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was a great home base while we explored local trails and Grandfather mountain. The employees are all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was the comfiest thing ever. Our stay was quiet, exactly what we needed and over all I would definitely return for another mountain adventure! "

"Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through. The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience."

"I was told that I could only park one car and the other would have to be parked down the road at the overflow lot. My family was on the way to a car event, driving two valuable cars. We are grateful that they did allow us to purchase another parking pass. My only complaint is that it should be clearer that they have limited parking on the listings. "Restored motor inn nicely appointed and a minimalist fashion super cozy - one of our favorite places to stay in Boone. They don't offer breakfast. However, there is the stick boy kitchen that is a a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive two blocks down the road. Can't wait for our next visit!😁 "

"Hemlock Inn was charming! Situated steps away from the lovely shopping area of downtown Blowing Rock. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with private parking adjacent to the door of the room. The room was clean and tastefully decorated in "mountain hemlock" style. Bedding was clean an comfy with ample pillows and blankets. The fire pit gazebo was a lovely site where we met other guests for conversation after dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to stay on future visits and recommend it hightly."

"We have stayed at Boxwood Lodge several times over the past two years. Love the location, walkable to town. Rooms are very nice. Nothing extravagant, just clean and comfortable. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But are totally fine for a night or two. Staff is very friendly "
