"For the price the motel is decent. Keep in mind if you rent the top room 3 beds. It’s above the owners home. If you have kids, this isn’t for you. I got a complaint we “were making too much noise” felt like we were walking on eggshells to not make noise. Pool is nice."

"All was good. The lobby lady was so nice, it started raining and we were a few hours early from check in but she let us eat our food in the lobby and was so welcoming. Great location right across from the beach. "

"There was an issue or something when i checked in, since apparently my room was not marked as occupied. Another customer as well as an employee tried to open my room twice while we were in there. Also, somebody went in while we were away, since we noticed some things missing."

"Property is an easy drive to restaurants, grocery, quirky little downtown, bars, Rockport’s great beach. Property has definitely seen better days but cottages are very spacious…two rooms. Ice machine not working. No extra toilet paper rolls in bathroom. There is a pool though I never saw it being used. Owner very friendly. Right by the water. This is a low budget motel at a low rate. Keep your expectations with that in mind and it will work for you."

"The property as well as the room were very poorly maintained. The room had a mildewy smell. Small dead roaches near the bed. Outlets without covers. The only positive is the private pier."

"We stayed here because we were traveling with our two big dogs. There was plenty of room for us to have both their beds in the room. Big area for the dogs to use the bathroom."
