  • Una casa DIVERTIDA de hermoso diseño a orillas del lago, con juguetones, inspiradores interiores y jardines diseñados por el Arquitecto Paisajista Brendan Moar, en uno de los mejores lugares en el lago del Lago Tabourie, en la impresionante costa sur de NSW.

    Esta choza se ha transformado en una de las adiciones más emocionantes de Lake Tabouries. Una transformación reciente, la choza (ahora, más que nunca) captura el espíritu y la diversión de la clásica vida de la casa de playa australiana. La choza se abre a través de bifolds, puertas francesas y celosías para abrazar sus hermosos alrededores. La veranda tiene un aspecto impresionante en el jardín del lago y en el lago Tabourie. Una fogata / barbacoa / hamaca ocupa el lugar central del jardín a orillas del lago y se convertirá en el foco de sus tardes en el lago. Los jardines están completamente cercados y cada parte tiene un lugar para sentarse y tomar todo. Siéntase libre de ayudarse a sí mismo al jardín de hierbas.

    No hay televisión, pero hay WiFi, por lo que puede mantenerse conectado y ver NetFlix si es necesario. Hay juegos de mesa y un increíble reproductor de discos y una colección de vinilos bastante buena. La choza es un interior (y exterior) cuidadosamente diseñado y le pedimos que sea respetuoso y lo trate con amor y como lo haría si fuera propio. Vibe es una parte importante de toda tu experiencia, así que por la noche, asegúrate de aprovechar todas las magníficas lámparas y reguladores de luz en todos los interruptores de luz: ¡HA! ¿Alguna vez has leído eso en un objeto de AIRbnb antes?

    Justo en el lago, puedes pescar desde tu patio delantero o sacar uno de los dos kayaks y navegar alrededor del Lago Tabourie o salir a la playa. El simple hecho de caminar hasta la playa (que dura aproximadamente 7 minutos) es una experiencia hermosa, a lo largo del borde del lago a través de un impresionante bosque australiano de la costa sur. Lake Tabourie tiene un espíritu nostálgico muy especial que cada vez es más raro de encontrar. Tranquilo y pacífico, es un lugar para hacer y compartir hermosas comidas abundantes, explorar a pie o hacer excursiones en automóvil a innumerables playas de clase mundial, lagos, estuarios y paseos por el monte (o "caminatas" cuando los niños menores de 35 años insisten en llamarlos ahora)

We had a great stay, the location is excellent with a great view over the lake and the cottage is so well equipped. We loved the retro style and listening to records while relaxing on the verandah.

Easy,, beachy life

Loved staying here! easy to relax into a week of downtime with the view straight onto the lake, walking to the beach, house is well supplied with nice linen, kitchen stuff, a record player and great vinyl collection, kayaks, and two bathrooms which made life with our teenagers simple. Not to mention it’s the suavest looking holiday rental I’ve ever stayed in.

Great retro beach shack

Loved our stay here. There was wonderful attention to detail in this retro shack. So good to find somewhere on the coast that hasn't been turned into a generic brick venereal or a McMansion. Very comfortable, stylish, great garden and stunning spot on the lake. Perfect!

Amazing Home

This beautiful house provided us with a much needed respite from face paced life. Brendan was amazing to deal with, the house was so inviting as we arrived with all the finishing touches covered. There is amazing access to the lake and beach. This place really is special! I could not recommend this stay more highly. We will definitely be back!

Always a winner.

Our third visit. This time it really rained! We still enjoyed swimming at nearby beaches and cooking local produce. And the record player…Whilst it’s basic it’s brilliant!

Fantastic- just as Linda remiss a small child - beautiful location and the retro style was quirky but really enjoyable. A fly screen here and there wouldn’t hurt but we’ll be back

Fantastic Retro Holiday

We loved this property, it had all we required. We are regulars to Tabourie and were very pleasantly surprised by the coolness coming of the Lake/Ocean on those hot days. We had everything we needed and all the little details we excellent. Especially the Record player and Hammock!! Highly recommended

Brendan and Josh's place is amazing. It's in an excellent location with beautiful views, terrific access to the lake and a short walk to the beach. With windows and doors that fully fold back, it welcomes the outside in. We loved using the kayaks provided and relaxing on the outdoor lounges on the verandah. The fairy lights made for a magical night-time atmosphere. With the landscaping design of the gardens and the retro styling of the home, this is the perfect combination for a wonderful holiday destination!

Position and charm

Delightful, quirky, interesting, arty, inspiring. Magnificent setting right on Lake Tabourie. It would be easy not to go anywhere else when staying here, but at least the very short and lovely wander to the great beach. The owners have renovated this cottage in a way that brings it into the now but still keeping the 'then' of when it was built (1950s or 60s?) and the rest of the decades since then. Charming and inviting garden front and back make enjoying this place inside and out effortless.

Gorgeous retro cottage

We absolutely loved the cottage. All the retro details are just gorgeous and everything is catered for. The location on the waterfront is so pretty. We enjoyed the firepit, read a book in the hammock and also used the kayaks. It was perfect. Would love to come back. Lisa

Lovely lakeside cottage

We were very unlucky with the weather, but the cottage was a really cozy space to watch the rain falling on the lake. We had a really relaxing stay, listening to records, playing board games, going for a few walks and taking the kayaks out on the lake.

An absolute diamond of a property. An escape back to the simple and beautiful life. Music and nature

A special place to nourish the soul

Bliss on toast

The house is in a great location with very calming views over the lake at the front and an equally beautiful view out the back over the beautiful garden. The beach is a short bushwalk away and we loved using the canoes. The retro design makes the house very comfortable and it is very light and airy.
