"Not only is this lodge one of kind, the owners and staff set it apart by offering a very special experience for all guests. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by the owner welcoming us in and getting us settled in our room. They made sure we got sorted in the morning and ready for our Myoko Adventure. "部屋が40へーべーと広い。温泉が露天風呂有り。ディナーや朝食がバイキングで持ち帰りのお弁当かその場で食べるか選べる。周りは、山々で車があると便利。ただ、ボーとしたり、紅葉をみたり野尻湖という日本2番目の湖に行ったりできます。敷地内のリフトから展望台にゆきうえからの眺めも素敵です。"

"Hotel Hanabun was a great ryokan experience! It is nestled in the mountains offering a peaceful getaway from touristy/crowded areas. It had the best onsen water, even the locals went there to bathe! The hosts and staff are all friendly and accommodating to your needs. Google translate was necessary to communicate, but everyone is very patient. The food was incredibly delicious, and they use locally sourced, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy ryokan. "

"This place is a great discovery. The hosts offer a warm and gracious hospitality. The jazz music they play in the common area is excellent. I love their displays of art and the maps of the local area. The breakfasts were splendid and the host worked to accommodate the dietary needs of one of our group."

"This is an authentic old-style ryokan with welcoming hosts who treat their guests like family. The building is very old and, being wooden construction, creaky and drafty, but also charming. The onsen was exceptionally clean and a wonderful first time experience for us. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious, with a variety of offerings we had never before encountered. We are westerners in our early 70s and were a little worried about sleeping on futons on the tatami mat...
