"This was the perfect stay for us while we got a dive certification over at the nearby Mammoth lake. I really enjoyed walking to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise. The stay was comfortable, the property was clean and maintained and there were grocery and resturaunt options within walking distance. I was perfectly comfortable with the temperature, but my fiance who runs hot wishes the AC was a little cooler. Bring mosquito repellant! Those buggers are brutal on the coast. Overall it...

"We had a fabulous vacation. The location is excellent - just two flights of stairs and you are on the beach! The condo had the necessary equipment you need for your stay; I cooked several meals, the only issue being the oven took longer than expected to cook the meal. The water pressure in the shower was good, the towels soft & clean. The refrigerator kept the food/drinks cold. The AC kept the entire condo cool; in fact the kids felt it was too cold! "You can’t beat this location. You walk off the stairs and you are in the sand. Cozy house that is stocked with all the kitchen tools you could need. It was a very relaxing stay, which is what we needed.Make sure to download the “Vessel Finder” app. It was fun to see the ships coming in and look up the e details. "My family of 4 and a friend's family of 4 stayed here and we loved it! Our kids range from 7 months to 5 years old, it was perfect. Having the pool in the afternoons was great. Check in was so easy. We will definitely be back!"

"Incredibly beautiful inside and out, had the most amazing ocean view even from the windows. Loved the comfort of the home, the beds all were so comfortable. Maid did so good coming and provided extra of everything to help keep it clean. We loved the kid tots and books, WiFi and apps to use. Beach directly 10 feet across the road. Short distance to Galveston loved and will def tell our friends. Great response and customer service from the sweet owners!"

"The property was very accommodating we love the entryway mud room as we traveled with two pets property was very comfortable we would love to stay somewhere with a king bed but we were quite comfortable the only issue we had was with the smell of the sulfur in the water but apparently that is on all Surfside close and beachfront properties"

"Sea La Vie is a great house situated on the front row of pedestrian beach. It provided the best views of the beach, day and night, and allowed us to watch our kids play safely on the beach from our deck. It is decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. Communication with Kimber was great. She responded quickly to any questions I had and she took care of the few minor issues I had immediately."
