The house, property, and location are stellar. We could have had an incredible stay but there were some fairly major mishaps with communication that unfortunately left an undesirable imprint throughout the stay.

We travelled with family including two young toddlers. We spent a week at this beautiful home. A great quiet location on Okanagan lake with incredible views. Well stocked with everything you need. We all enjoyed the hot tub and I particularly loved the garden especially the herbs. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and the use of the kayaks. Plenty to do in the area with vineyards, hiking trails and restaurants close by. It felt like a home away from home. Curtis and Janice were a pleasure to deal with always making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely try to get there again.

We had a great stay. The hosts responded quickly to any questions we had and were super friendly during our stay. The house decorations and accessories are well thought out. Every room had hooks for hanging towels and other items. The lake and hot tub got plenty of use during our stay. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at our Okanagan vacation house. We were 6 adults and enjoyed the spacious home with it's cleanliness and nicely appointed interior. Whether jumping in the cool lake or the warm hot tub or taking a nap on the lanai with the lapping of the lake on the shore, it was a great experience. Services are a short drive away with stores and restaurants and several nearby wineries. Central location near Lake Country between Vernon and Kelowna was very convenient to explore the area. We would all do it again.

Family vacation

10 out of 10!

We stayed for a week with 2 other families (6 adults, 6 kids) and there was more than enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The property is absolutely beautiful. Let me start with the interior. The level of detail Curtis and Janice has poured into the home is incredible. From the hand soaps, candles, linen, towels, kitchen utensils, games, etc, were all top quality products that enhanced our stay that much more. Wifi was fast as some of us were doing some work during our stay (even on the patio). The kiddos used the tv (Netflix, Disney +) and the adults enjoyed the ping pong table. The exterior of the house was just as amazing. We bbq’d almost daily and spent many hours lounging in the sitting and dining area on the patio overseeing the beautiful lake views. The hot tub was a huge hit and used daily. The lake itself is definitely the crown jewel of the property. The water was calm and was perfect temperature for swimming. (The beach is a bit rocky, so bring water shoes.) All 3 families had only great things to say about this place and we definitely will be coming back again in the future. Thank you Curtis and Janice for a great vacation!

Quiet Lakefront Property - Amazing Stay

What a fantastic stay! We planned a vacation with extended family and this vrbo couldn’t have been more perfect. The home was clean and thoughtfully decorated, lots of space inside and out for kids and adults, well maintained green space for tossing a frisbee or football and beautiful lakefront area with floating dock… and hot tub! Lots of near by fishing, cliff jumping and wine tours, cycling and walking trails. Attentive and welcoming owners are next door and were super helpful during our stay. I am hesitant to say how stellar this spot is for fear of not being able to book next year!

Wonderful lake property

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The home itself is furnished with comfortable and quality furnishings, great beds and all the little details that make it and welcoming stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and has all the extras for enjoying meals. There are multiple spaces for people to spend time indoor and out, the deck is fabulous with a beautiful lake view and you are steps to the water. Our hosts, Curtis and Janice were amazing and responded quickly to any of our questions. They were genuinely invested in making our stay an excellent one.

Perfect family holiday house!

We were a multigenerational group of 10 and we were all delighted with this stunning house on the lake. The decor was lovely, the kitchen had every staple we needed and a few special touches. We liked that the TV room and living room were separate. We are our group meals outdoors every day on the deck with incredible views of the sunsets. The kids played on the soft grass right up to the water and swam around the warm lake all day. We will definitely book this house again!

Great extended family getaway

The house provided a great getaway for our extended family to get together enjoy some sun, the lake, and of course some wine. There were 6 adults and 5 kids, lots of space for us not to be on top of each other all the time. The floating doc was well used by our crew, as were the supplied kayaks. Our host helped us find a nearby rental shop to rent a stand up paddle board for our stay as well. We had great weather which helped us appreciate the newly added air conditioning.

Wonderful!

We gathered with our family - 4 couples & 4 grandkids, for 6 glorious days at this beautiful property which is on the east side of Okanagan Lake. The home is hidden away in a very private spot, but is close to wineries and shopping. The only neighbors were the owners who lived next door. Curtis was a wonderful host, and he and his wife kept the grounds impeccable. Everything was in top notch condition so we never had to contact him with any problems. No constant boat traffic here as only a few boats cruise by each day. A new hot tub, grass to the lakeshore and a nice floating dock a perfect distance from shore. Lots of extra chairs to sit on the grass and enjoy watching the kids in the water. The shoreline is rocky, so we all had water shoes, but the water was clean. The property also had a couple of kayaks which we made of. The large, gorgeous 5 bedroom house accommodated us easily. There are large eating spaces both inside and out on the huge west facing deck. Top notch recent finishes and furnishing everywhere. The kitchen was large, open, and well equipped. The bathrooms were really nice and had 5 star hotel quality soft and thick towels. We also used the laundry pair on the main floor. This property is at the top of our list the next time we gather in the Okanogan!

Great place for our annual get-together among old college friends. Plenty of room and rooms, well-appointed home with an outstanding lakeside view. The property managers were very responsive to questions and the few minor issues that came up.

Great place for family vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this house while vacationing in Kelowna. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We were able to swim right from the backyard to the floating dock. In addition to swimming, our kids played many games of basketball in front of the house. The inside of the house was beautifully decorated and maintained. Spacious kitchen with large dining area for our big group. No need to pack a lot for clothes if you are staying here. The house is equipped with modern washer and dryer. Air-conditioning units throughout the house kept us comfortable during the stay. The house is close to shops to pick up food for cooking and restaurants for dining out. The owner of the place Curtis was very welcoming and responsive to communication when needed. We will definitely rent this place again for future trips.

Better than advertised!

The place has been refreshed and improved since we booked, so I had to double-check we were in the right place on arrival! The house is even more impressive in person than in the listing. A few minutes after we arrived, the host (who lives in the property next door) arrived to greet us. Very friendly and great communications throughout. The place was stocked with all necessities. The bedrooms are all a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen and living areas were more than big enough for our group of 6 golfers. (We used one of the living rooms as a sixth bedroom, and the host provided a full mattress for the pullout.) The deck was our main gathering place - it’s a great size with a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding hillsides. We had frequent visits from the local deer (and marmots). It’s a 5 minute drive into town where you can get everything you need, but you feel a million miles away (in a good way!). In short, we loved our week here and would return in a second. Thanks so much, Curtis!

Restful Retreat

Even in the fall this is a beautiful property. The house is far more spacious than it looks online and close to amenities without sacrificing privacy and the feeling of being 'away from it all.' The new owner was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. Very restful.

Family getaway

My family and I enjoyed a week at Randy's property. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The lakefront was perfect! Outdoor space is amazing but the extra company wasn't welcomed

Despite the mice and the numerous spiders that weren't dealt with prior to our arrival, the home is in a fantastic location! The house is a stone throw from the lake and the water is so fresh and clean! The outdoor fun was amazing! The house could be cleaned out better for company that isn't family.

Beautiful property, awful experience

The home is located on a beautiful piece of property with a large lawn, beach and dock. There is no AC (we knew this when we booked) but didn’t know just how hot the bedrooms and house would get. The kitchen and all bedrooms are west facing and get drilled with afternoon sun. The kids couldn’t sleep it was so hot. Had to sleep our toddler in the laundry room. Unfortunately, the experience with Randy and the property was not positive. Because this house is his actual home he rents out in the summer, he showed up whenever he wanted. He came to the property unannounced 4 times throughout our stay. The last day we were there, he showed up with an appraiser, entered the door code into the door and was about to let himself in. We had to stop him at the door to tell him that he was not allowed in the house. On the day we checked out, he showed up at 8:00am and was on the property the entire time we packed, cleaned and ate breakfast until we left at 11:00. In addition, for 4/6 days we were there, they were clearing the lot next to us of all the trees. We had to listen to 2 chippers and 4 chainsaws all day long. We couldn’t hear each other talk at lunch or dinner. If I could upload a video of it, I would. Randy knew about it and didn’t tell us. We asked him to consider discounting or refunding a night and he didn’t even reply. There is a level of expectation when paying the price we did for a rental and we were extremely disappointed. We have stayed in over a dozen VRBO rentals and this was the weirdest and worst experience we have ever had. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Beautiful lakefront property

Loved our time at the lake! The home is extremely well equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful summer holiday. The location is perfect. The swimming raft and kayaks are a special bonus that my family enjoyed every day. Bring water shoes to make entry and exit through the water easier.
