"The house is spacious, very clean, and there are plenty of household items, i.e. pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen items to accommodate a large group. The host left thorough instructions for access to the house, with just a slight mix-up on entry codes...but the host was very quick to respond and help me get it straightened out. I would recommend this rental property to anyone wishing to come stay in Lake City, MN."

"This is a marvelous, unique cottage. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Will definitely book again.Just a few notes to be sure of before you book.1. The pathway could be difficult for any one with difficulty walking. The walkway is stone and is uneven in places. "This home was perfect! We were there for my daughter to be seen at the Mayo which is stressful. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog with us and have a beautiful house to come "home" to after the long days at the hospital. "The house was as described. Mind you the railroad runs between the house and the lake and trains run often. Even so, the noise was not disturbing to those in the upstairs bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom could you another door, but guests were able to sleep well. "

"Chris was helpful when we had technical issues with the tv.We had a nice view of the river to enjoy. Chris helped us start a fire in the fireplace since we have never used one and there wasn’t any paper or kindling wood by the fireplace. Red Wing is a great place to visit to see fall colors and get apples. "
