Visiting Kids and Grandkids

Took a little vacation in Lafayette to see the kids and grandkids. I wanted to have a little space to myself and found these wonderful cottages, right by the bayou. The cottage was clean, comfortable and as cute as button regarding a place to relax and uniwnd.Nice and quiet. I definitely plan on making this my place to stay to when visiting.

gorgeous property, super cute house!

We stayed here for a long weekend during a family reunion and it was great. Definitely the right size for a couple. Loved strolling the grounds near the Vermilion and bird watching in all the beautiful trees. The house itself was well appointed with everything we needed. It was 21 degrees while we were there, so we especially appreciated the space heaters. Hosts were communicative and helpful. Would totally stay here again.

A little country in the city

Our stay in the Azalea house was quite pleasant. The house was just the right size for 2. We enjoyed sitting out on the little porch watching the squirrels. Also enjoyed the swing on the property overlooking the bayou. Lots of trees in the property made it feel like we were out in the country. Would definitely recommend.

Location is great. Cottage is just as described and comfortable. Relaxing property. Had an issue unlocking door but a quick call resolved that fast. Enjpyed our stay. We will return. that

The only place you need to stay in Lafayette

I'm from the area and was so pleasantly surprised that this place existed. Every single detail was covered and the property owner/manager was communicative and helpful. Don't waste your time and money staying anywhere else.

Wonderful stay at Azalea Cottage

This was a very comfortable and clean place for the 2 of us. Very convenient to all that Lafayette and the surrounding area has to offer. It was great having outside space right on the bayou to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again!

The Azalea house fit us perfectly. We loved the open concept of the kitchen and living area. Everything was clean and ready to be used. The fire pit was nice and relaxing. Ample wood to be burned. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely request to stay again.

Really nice place to stay. In an excellent location to allow for short drive times to get to many restaurants and shopping areas. Walmart within 2 miles. Easy access to Hwy 90 the throughway of Lafayette. Owner had ice ready for use in the freezer; enjoyed this for our cocktail hour! Really comfortable bed. Perfect for a couple. Stayed 3 nights. Best place to stay in Lafayette, LA.

Nice and cozy

Nice and relaxing place to stay. Loved the swing and fire pit. The inside was clean. We had a storm over us and power went out. I called the host and he contacted power company and let us know how long it woud take for power to be restored. He also was going to bring generator to us if power did not come on quickly. They were concerned about and cared that we did not have power. Great Host! If I come to Lafayette again. I will book here again.

The Vermillion River in Lafayette Louisiana
