"It was a special treat to stay here. If you have a motorbike and want to stay out of the crowds of tam coc for part of your visit it’s an easy 25 minute ride to all points of interest there. The place is full of amazing ponds that look like a fairy tale. We spent 2 nights and were the only guests. They made us dinner both nights. The hosts were amazing. The pool is giant and deep, but was empty and being cleaned. I loved the stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants some piece and quiet...

"My family arrived at 8pm only to be greeted with a shocked look and being told that they did not have our 2 room booking. We were then asked to squeeze into a single unit, with the promise that the next night would as per our booking. The next night, it seemed they sold our room to another guest and proposed we squeeze into the single room again. We insisted on getting a new room and they (somehow magically) managed to clear one for us. Poor service. Also... The tap water there is brown....

" We had a wonderful time staying with Joan and his family. They were there to answer all our questions. The rooms were very clean and modern, the AC worked well, and it was spacious. He even offered us in room massage service for 200.000 vnd an hour - this was amazing !! Also the view from the balancing is AMAZING as advertised ! "

"Out of everywhere we stayed during our two-week trip around Vietnam, Happy Tam Coc Ecolodge was hands down the best. The property is stunning—surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery, it feels peaceful and secluded, yet still super close to everything. Bich Dong Pagoda is just a five-minute walk away, and most tourist spots are only a short scooter ride. What really made the stay special was Lily. "Loved my two night stay here with my mother. Super quiet with good blackout curtains and AC, great for sleep. Shower had outstanding pressure and hot water, though they took the river stone trend pretty literally and you'll want to bring slides (provided with the room) into the WC. "Beautiful homestay with the most lovely staff. The rooms are new and modern, the walls are thick and quiet, the ac works great, the bathrooms are spa like, and the views are really nice. "Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam despite also being the most affordable. The hotel itself is lovely and well-situated in a quiet but convenient spot in Ninh Binh town. The staff are incredibly kind and generous: the concierge took time out of his day to drive me somewhere quiet for a scooter-riding lesson and handled getting me on a sleeper train to Da Nang. Cannot recommend Thuy Anh highly enough"
