"This location was perfect for my family. We took our two children 2 and 6 to lake erie for the first time. This house was a prefect place for us and allowed us to enjoy the beach and the town very easily. I would highly recommend!"

"Even though the host accepted a last minute reservation, the house was not ready for guests. It was dirty and had a man and his child living there. A mattress and box springs was placed in the center of the floor in one room (no frame) and a the host was unboxing an air mattress for another room. We did NOT end up staying. Definitely not ready for guests."

"Was a nice, clean, and affordable two bedroom upstairs apartment in a duplex looking building, in a regular working class neighborhood. Definitely not handicap accessible but perfect for small Families. It seemed like the shower had a water softener and hot water never ran out. Street parking and had lots of air conditioners for the Summer so you won't roast. Said they had a blow dryer but couldn't find it. I had a great stay, Hosts were quick to respond to any questions. "

"Great property for family vacation! Sue was an amazing host; very responsive and helpful. The property was clean, fully stocked with all you could need, in a quiet area and had a large heated pool that was a big hit with the whole family. Check-in was smooth and Sue was able to provide some great recommendations for activities and food. No problems with wi-fi or anything inside the house. We enjoyed visiting Main Street beach, downtown (cute little Harbor Town), Wild Hooves rescue and petting...

"Good location in Lorain. The building itself is a neat old building. There is no carpet in the room, which is awesome...all tile.. Some may consider the room dated, but at this prices point, you will get zero complaints from me. Overall, there was plenty to keep us busy for the weekend, some really good restaurants and we got to bring the dog, too. "

"Everyone enjoyed this gem. The owner was very communicative and welcoming. We had his support to host a party of 30 people. Our guests enjoyed tours of this old home with comments like, “It’s a real fun house!”, “I wish I could live in a place like this.” “This seems like a house out of a novel.” There were slanted floors and unexpected hallways that made it an entertaining place to vacation "

"My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at the lakeside retreat house. This was our second stay and everything was very clean and the house had everything we needed. We are so pleased, our host he was a phone call away if we needed anything which is very comforting."

"We had the most fantastic stay! I grew up nearby and it was wonderful to share the lake with our kids. The house is super clean and absolutely adorable. The view and access to the water can't be beat! We will definitely return next summer!"
