"True to description this is an old farm house. Well appointed. The furnishings and decoration, all as if you're visiting grandma at the home place. The setting in the Ocooch Mountains is unlike anywhere else in the mid-west. Most relaxing weekend I've had in years. "

"Kids didn’t want to leave! Beautiful setting and clean space. Looking forward to another trip out there already."

"Beautiful property with lots of wildlife. Great bird watching. Extremely quiet and relaxing. We got to spend time just sitting on the porch, watching the birds and the deer. The only drawback there was and no fault of the owners of the property is that the bridge was out so we had to go around about 10 more minutes to get to the home. All in all, it was a great time to spend with family and enjoying the many sports and activities in the area."

"I wish I could rate this place lower so it stays a secret. So quiet. Milky way. Hot tub. Fire pit. Walk up Oak Ave. Critters. Hope to return, 40min drive from fam."

"Fabulous! Clean and well appointed throughout. Plenty of space for seven adults and a dog to gather and spread out. Beautiful rural property which is a surprisingly short drive to town. This one was hard to leave on our last day. The hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Always just a call away when we had a question. We’d love to stay here again. "

"Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future."

"We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful cabin. I highly recommend. Everything was perfect, the beds were super comfy and the atmosphere of the cabin was cozy and comfortable. "

"Clean, comfortable, organized with everything we needed. AC is a little loud. Duck Egg Forest and Sidie Hollow Park provide fantastic hiking opportunities. The Driftless Cafe, Fortney Hotel Lounge, the Co-op and Main St shops rounded out our stay."

"Clean, cozy, and beautiful escape. The grill/smoker was awesome and we loved sitting on the wrap-around porch to listen to the wildlife around us. Kyle and Kirsty were communicative and responsive hosts. This was the perfect secluded cabin getaway! "

"This was a very quaint, well kept little house, and it was perfect for our group and the best part was that it had a first class trout stream right in the backyard. And we actually caught a few fish. Loved this place and would like to go there again."
