Close proximity to obtain use of the Clarion river. Plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable inside. "My husband and I have been going to Tionesta for some time now. He grew up going to a family camp in the area and it is a fabulous place for fishing, hiking, tubing in the summer and just unwinding. "We had a great weekend at the River Valley Retreat in Franklin! The house was immaculate and well stocked, to include kayaks and bikes we could use. Amazing water pressure and great shower. The beds were very comfortable and the AC units kept the house comfortable, even on the 90 degree days. Lots of local places to eat in or have meals delivered. View of the river from the front porch with plenty of seating. We had everything we needed for a fun weekend away! Check in and check out were easy....

Was a little confused by the website saying to bring your own sheets and towels though, we had brought all that stuff and it was in the cabin, we just used the ones we brought. Hot tub was a nice relaxing time for myself. We would recommend you and probably be staying again in the future. Thank you for a good weekend away, it was much needed!"

"Situated just above the Clarion River just outside of Cook Forest State Park. Rooms have a mini refrigerator. Coffe available in the hallway. Has a bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. "

"My 19 yr old daughter has always wanted a treehouse, but never had one. We decided since she never had one of her own, we should at least stay at one and found this beautiful treehouse! The pictures are spot on and the treehouse is even cooler in person! Everything feels so welcoming and inviting, including the touches by the host, such as the local bottle of wine! "I was there with my wife and one of our daughters to attend a memorial for a deceased family member. My wife of 56 years has Alzheimer's so travel can be challenging, but our stay was very enjoyable even with the challenges. The property is excellent but I think it was the communication with our host that was the most exceptional. The worst part of the trip was leaving! Sitting around the campfire has always been a source of enjoyment and our time there was no exception. While we live 600 miles...

"Clean and comfortable accommodations for our weekend trip. Lodge restaurant was very good. Cozy, casual atmosphere. Only complaint (and an easy fix) was lack of bedside table lamps in the room."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our quick visit to this beautiful cabin. We loved how close it was to Foxburg! The lake this cabin on is so peaceful and It is in a quiet neighborhood. There is a Nice front porch and the cabin is so cozy. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and so accessible and accommodating. Our son (who is almost two) loved the loft (We took a gate for the top of the steps). We hope to make it back someday. Thank you!! "

"My brother and I were very impressed with the serenity and peacefulness of The farmhouse we loved every minute of it we heard the stream running the storm was even beautiful I our dog was very normal he enjoyed everything of his day there as well I go back again and again the host was great the wife cooked us some great bread thanks Lynn we really appreciate it and Greg was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and gave us nice stories and tidbits about The farmhouse thank you so much...

"The place was beautiful, clean and peaceful. My only suggestions would be to upgrade at least one bed to a queen for larger people. My stepdad is 6' "3" and had a bit of a hard time fitting in the bed. And some larger furniture in the sitting room. It really was a great place though and I will recommend it and may stay again myself if we go back to the area."
