At check in was not advised to turn power to bathroom was a switch outside in public hallway. Not great when already stripped off. Eventually worked it out. "Lovely boutique style rooms in a gorgeous location with a terrific restaurant and bar on site. I’m so glad we stayed here. It was a perfect start to our visit to Scotland. Beautiful views over the water from the front porch of the hotel. Plenty of available parking. And a bus stop across the road from the hotel if you don’t want to drive. Beds were very comfortable. Blackout curtains genuinely darkened the room. Bathroom was very clean and well appointed. Huge fluffy towels. We would definitely...

"Kings Mills is one of the finest hotels we've stayed in, in Europe and the U.S. From the beautifully manicured gardens to the lovely decorated king suite, the great bar, sitting room, and dining room, it is exquisitely maintained and managed by a superb staff. The concierge and reception staff were very helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. We loved the gardens and enjoyed having breakfast and tea after a long day out. We would definitely recommend it to friends and plan on coming back...
