"We had a fantastic time in Forest Trail Lodge. It is perfectly located in the village of Nethy Bridge with an abundance of walks around the area. The house itself was ample room for us all and felt like a ‘home from home’. We found the app highly useful, both before and during our stay. "We really loved this lodge out in the Glen. It was super clean, easy to check in, and very tidy. Also, our GPS took us directly to Achanellan, so finding it was super easy. While we enjoyed the solitude, it should be noted that this lodge is a full 30-35 minutes outside of Ft. William. Single track, uneven roads and livestock make the journey both to and from the lodge take much longer than listed. Additionally, the lodge advertises a washer and dryer, but we only found a drying rack rather than...

"This large property is located in the heart of some amazing coastal sea paddling in Caithness. Massive sea cliffs, caves, arches, and sea birds just go on and on. This property allowed us to be all together, plenty of room for cooking, eating together and sleeping. Great views for after paddling cheer."
