"The hotel it's small but super clean and well done. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom huge. The only thing is that is on a quiet neighborhood so it's like 20 minute walk to the canal and Nishiki market but still centric enough. Also, the futon sounds like a good idea until the second night and your hips are dying...just saying. It's not as easy as you think if you are 35 or older..."

"We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very attractive and modern. Our room was large and well laid out. The location is ideal-a brief walk to Nishiki market and 18 minutes to Gion. Many restaurants are nearby. Kyoto station is about a 15 minute taxi ride. The staff is excellent and helpful. The property is meticulously maintained. I would skip the restaurant for dinner. The food is tasty but the portions are small even by Japan standards. We did not eat breakfast there. We would stay here...

"Our stay in Kyoto at the Resi Stay was wonderful. We were able to send some of our luggage ahead, and it was waiting for us at the check-in counter across the street from the train station, which is where you check in. We stayed in 1F and it was huge and very quiet, and it had laundry. We loved exploring Kyoto from this location, as it's so close to a very cute part. We only wish we made a better plan for seeing the rest of Kyoto. It's big and spread out. "
