Welcome to One More Moon by KEES Vacations!

If you are looking for true beach living, this is the place for you. Right on Virginia Dare Trail aka Beach Road, this house is literally steps from the beach. You have easy walking distance to both the Byrd Street and Fonck Street beach accesses.

The owners have completely renovated this property this year bringing you a modern, upgraded experience!

The biggest issue you will have on your vacation at One More Moon is deciding where you want to hang out! Will you be down on the hammock underneath the house? Maybe playing a game of ping pong or sitting in the hot tub while the grill is cooking the evening meal. Or perhaps sitting at the covered bar area telling your family and friends about your day. Oh, or maybe you'll venture up to the top deck and sit on one of the chairs sipping a cold beverage while staring at the ocean. One more choice is the covered front porch with a table and chairs as well as a sitting area. And let’s not forget one of the best features of this home...your very own private pool! Take a refreshing dip any time of day or lounge poolside while watching the cars roll down Beach Road and listening to the waves crash on the beach. Of course, the inside living space is super comfortable to hang out in as well.

The lovely one-level living allows for convenience and comfort. You will find the living area, the kitchen filled with new appliances, a dining area, 2 Queen En Suites, and 1 Pyramid Bunk En Suite all on the same level. All of the bedrooms have access to the deck! From the kitchen area, head out onto the privacy of a full front porch and enjoy a meal as you listen to the waves crash on the shore across the street.

The beach is so easily accessible that you might not want to go anywhere else, but being in the heart of Kitty Hawk, you will be so close to delicious local eateries, grocery stores, shopping, and attractions. In addition, it is a quick drive to both Duck and Kill Devil Hills on either side.

An outdoor pool, hot tub, and upscale, outdoor, covered back bar are included in your vacation rental. Spend your days at the beach or the pool and your nights in the hot tub. Go up to the upper-level deck above the bar and enjoy some ocean or star gazing in the beautiful Outer Banks sky. Challenge your friends and family to a game of ping pong at the all-weather table under the carport. And if you just want to sit back, get away, and read your book or take a nap, the multi-level decks are filled with comfortable outdoor seating. There is also a washer and dryer available at this property should you want to have clean and fresh towels with you every day at the beach.

**There are 3 parking spaces for guests.**

**Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.**

Check-In begins at 4pm.Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

The host did a great job at checking all the boxes. My son lives in Virginia so we come to OBX a few times a year. The place we usually stay was booked. So happy it was because this house was perfect and will be our new go-to OBX house.

Beautiful property and the house is very child friendly. The amenities are great!Bad review because the floors were not cleaned and they didn’t bother to even move furniture to sweep anything! Child’s feet were black after a few minutes of walking on the floor. we cleaned the floor and then enjoyed the property!

The house itself is very cute. It is decorated nicely and was perfect for 3 of us. We love the swimming pool, location and beach view. The back deck where the swimming pool is definitely should have an umbrella.Unfortunately we run into many very unclean and unsanitary conditions in the house. The showers , bathrooms, floors , doors were very dirty. The house needs deep deep cleaning!!!!!! The sheets were not clean !!!!! Stained and discolored!!!! The table outside on the porch might never been wiped.I am very disappointed that the reviews were not accurate. It makes me wonder if the reviews were real.When I discovered dirty showers I didn’t hear back from the kees rental till next day. They did ask if they should send someone next day , realllllyyy?Before my check in I got many emails and text messages from Kees rental making sure that I won’t get to the house before 4pm because they have cleaning service getting house ready. I am not sure what they were doing there ???? The house was not clean and every day I was finding more and more filthy things in the house.I did share some photos with the kees company to make sure that someone else will not have the same problem and for them to see how things were not clean !!!!!

We love this house! The location and amenities are excellent. I am giving 4 stars because the floors of the 3 bath showers are very SMOOTH and SLICK. We chose to use the outdoor shower . It is large and private.

We so enjoyed our vacation while staying at One More Moon. Everything was so clean and new. It had so many different hang out spots that our teenagers were able to spread out and have their own space. We loved the location. The public beach access was a super quick walk. I would definitely recommend this house and if we return to the Outer Banks, this is where we will stay.

THE Perfect Vacation Spot

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at One More Moon! The house was clean, spacious for our group of 3, and so well-appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting at the island or outside on the porch for our meals. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having our own bathrooms for each bedroom. It was so nice to have a door to the outside in each bedroom. The location was excellent - beach access was just a few houses away and an easy walk to Rundown Cafe, Walgreens, and Duck Donuts. The hot tub and pool were both used and enjoyed, even with the water being a little chilly in the pool. We cannot wait to return to One More Moon! Highly recommend 10/10!

This house was perfect for our stay with an amazing amount of amenities like a ping pong table, hot tub, beautiful outdoor shower and comfortable decks. The house is so well decorated and functional. I would definitely stay again and recommend this property highly

First time OBX

This was the first time me and my family came to OBX and could have selected a better place. The house had everything we needed. The beach was right across the street and close to all your needs. The hot tubs was also nice after a long day at the beach playing with my teen. We can not wait to come back and stay at this property again.

Wonderful House Close to Everything in Kitty Hawk

We stayed at One More Moon for 5 nights in April. The weather was gorgeous and the location was exactly what we were looking for. Check-in was super easy, the rental company sent us a text just before check-in time with everything we needed. Beach access was a short walk in either direction (maybe 100 yards in either direction). I can imagine the road between the house and the beach is super busy in the summer months though so may not be ideal for those with very small children. The house was the perfect size for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). It was clear the owners put a lot of detail into every inch of the house. From the multi-level decks and outdoor bar to the outdoor shower, it seemed no detail had been left out. The ping pong table on the lower level was a huge hit with our kids (9 and 12). Each bedroom having it's own bathroom and door to enter/exit directly to the outside was also fantastic. I can imagine this would come in very handy for a group of adults that want to come and go as they please without disturbing the rest of the house. Small details like chain locks on each door so little kids can't just open the door to go outside are the details I'm talking about not being overlooked. We found small details like this in every part of the house. The only thing I could think of that I would change is one of the bedrooms could use a king size bed. Other than that the house was fabulous.
