This spacious house is the perfect beach vacation home with a wide-open floor plan. There are three decks, a private pool/hot tub, four master suites, Rec room with pool table and foosball, wide staircases with landings between each level, a full-size laundry room, open kitchen/dining room/family room.

This relaxing home also offers ocean views from the top deck. You'll find books, puzzles, and games for all ages, Wi-Fi, Spectrum cable on all 8 TVs, AND it's only a 4-minute walk to public beach access.

You'll love every little detail of this home including the local artwork, motion sensor nightlights, luggage racks in each bedroom, wet/dry hand vac in kitchen/dining area, desk with chair in 2nd level King, black out curtains in 2nd level bedrooms with deck access, walkway to pool/outside shower, coat rack at entry, towel hooks by pool, and front solar lights for those late-night arrivals.

LINENS ARE PROVIDED. Beds are made. Towels, wash cloths, hand towels, makeup cloth, bath mat, kitchen towels, and pool towels included.

Besides the beach, there are plenty of things to do while staying at Dune Our Thing. Located on a quiet street at Milepost 4.5, it's a quick walk/drive to MANY local shops/activities! You are within walking distance (.3 miles) of Johns Drive-In, as well as all the wonderful shops in the 4.5-mile marker plaza (.1 miles) including, Coffee @ Outer Bean, Donuts @ Donuts 4 You, Pizza @ Vinny's Pizza Joint, Seafood Boil from Outer Banks Boil Company, Authentic Italian in romantic setting @ Josephine's, Asian Fusion @ Poks Art, and much more!!

Other nearby attractions include Avalon Pier only 1.5 miles away and across the street is the famous Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar. Only 2 miles to the R/C Kill Devil Hills Movies 10. The brand-new Target (opened April 2023) is just 2 miles away. And don't forget about the amazing H2OBX waterpark which is 11 miles from the house and worth the drive.

Awesome Vacation

We highly recommend this property. It was perfect for our group of 10. Tons of space to spread out. The kids loved staying together in the bunk beds bedroom. They made great use of the game room. The location of this home is ideal for things to do in either direction. This home was clean and just like the pictures. We will definitely plan to stay again. A great week in a great home! Thank you!

The house was great. The property management company probably not as good. They are not checking everything. We almost burned down the house because the bbq hadn’t been cleaned all year. There was so much grease and the brush to clean the grill didn’t have one bristle. The grease was at least 2 inches thick on the patio under the grill. Jacuzzi cover and sides falling apart. The sliding glass door tracks so dirty you can’t open the door and half of the chairs at the table are on the last legs. They can’t be glued anymore!

Family Adventure

This house worked very well for the families to have their own bedroom and bath except for bedroom on first floor did not have full bath and had to go to other floors for a bath/shower. Bunk room was great for the children. The kitchen and table seating was great! The walk to the beach was not bad at all. The home decor looked like the pictures...all very nice!

Perfect for College Reunion

The house was clean, well equipped and generally comfortable. The location was perfect for the beach and exploring the Outer Banks, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool and the hot tub was perfect.

Great family vacation spot

So much to do — pool, hot tub (thankfully because the weather was cold all week), pool table, foosball, games, quick walk to the beach. Kitty Hawk is fairly commercialized and not walkable compared to Duck to the north and Nags Head to the south but both are close by for day trips. Water park, Flight museum, aquarium, sand dunes and light houses great attractions (get tickets in advance for lighthouses and aquarium)

Great week!

We had our whole family at the house and had a wonderful week. The property was so close to the beach, the pool and hot tub were both so great and convenient we all had the best time! The only concern was the cleaning company didn't do the best job they really need to clean the ceiling fans and check under the beds and clean the light fixtures. Also the bathrooms could have used a little more attention. But we did bring clorox wipes so some wiping down with them and we were good to go. The management company was great and responsive when needed. Good time had by all of us!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. The place was pretty clean and in a great location. My recommendation would be to update the listing to include information regarding what to bring. I’d suggest bringing your own pans for cooking. Side note: there were some draining issues in the showers. Would recommend updating the bathrooms/working with a plumber. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

Beautiful Home Getaway

This house was absolutely wonderful! So much space and we all felt like we were the only ones in the house without being right on top of each other. The pool and hot tub was used EVERY DAY! even on rainy days. Beautiful home (full accommodations), entertainment (pool table and Foosball) on the bottom floor, close to everything, quick walk to the ocean and close to the pier(s). The price was unbelievable for this type of house, so affordable. Will def be returning when we get the chance.

Family Vacation/Friend Vacation

The property was overall nice, the closets were jammed full of random things, and the blankets that weren't on the beds were dirty and we found a few dead bugs on them, which is nasty. The fridge upstairs didn't keep things very cold on the first two days but eventually it worked fine. The best thing about this property was the location, I would recommend this property but tell people to bring their own blankets.
