Carparking is a couple of minutes walk away, perfect. The property has a lovery patio where to relax and blow your mind as the sun sets. Clean and well appointed it is 200m from the lower car ferry and passenger ferry to Dartmouth Even better same distance to the lovely Ship Inn in Kingswear!We had two teenage boys and the bunk beds were fineOn arrival it was a bit cold and Sharon helped us with the heating and kind enough to drop more logs offWe didn’t use the top patio area as it was April but went for a look and it was greatHighly recommend this little...

"Good stay, with a large comfortable, spotlessly clean, homely, well equipped apartment. Friendly staff. However, there were a couple of niggles, the TV was really small, old fashioned and not smart so no access to streaming services etc. There was also a surprise charge for daily electricity usage, which wasn’t mentioned during booking, and could really add up if you were staying for a few nights or more. "

"We looked at so many different places to stay, this being our first time in Torquay. Boy did we pick the right spot. Breathtaking views, and despite being an older building, everything was in order. Spaceous apartment with everything we needed, fabulous sourroundings and amenities. The "Ocean view" bar was hard to leave... and the pool was in use every day by our kids. We would love to come back !"

"had another great stay at chelston dene apartments.. close to beach and short walk to Torquay town centre.."

"Fabulous house ,photos don't do it justice,suitable for all ages,vast array of amenities,pool and hot tub well used and enjoyed BBQ outside ,take a hairdryer with you tho as only thing I couldn't find .would highly recommend,seems expensive but not for you have , communication with booking site and hosts was excellent too , perfect location but be aware satnav takes you slightly off ,we missed the driveway twice lol ,we as a large party will definitely go back ."

"Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. Lovely coastal walks without taking the car.One downside of the area was the road in and out , it was so...

"We rented a one bed flat at Vomero apartments in July 2025 and found it to be a gem of a period property with outstanding views from the balcony overlooking Torbay. The town is accessible. Louise and Sean were considerate hosts with fantastic quality of service. Highly recommend. "

"The lodge is very well equipped with lots of little extras like cooking oil, games, DVDs etc. The beds are very comfy and sleeps 5 people really well. The site is very quiet and has a kids play area. Easy to walk to East Soar and then to the coast path or to Overbeck Gardens & down to South Sands to catch the ferry to Salcombe. "
