"This was our favourite stay during our road trip around west Scotland The staff were incredibly polite and kind natured The food was amazing ( large portions ) The decor is quirky and charming We stayed in what I could better describe as an apartment more so than a room- stone floors and lovely and clean The staff recommended a walk for us with the kids and it was perfect, alongside the loch, to beaches with incredible views Very nice place indeed "

"Very swanky, nicely equipped, good staff. Our only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfy and didn't match the quality of the hotel which was otherwise stellar. Free breakfast was decent with the option to order made to order breakfast for a charge if you wanted."

"Initial problem with the room rectified instantly. Room clean and all staff were very friendly. Looking forward to staying again "

"2 huge and very comfortable beds with loads of pillows. The reception and dining staff were all lovely and the food way above our expectations. Our stay was all too short (early flight) but our experience was very good indeed. My one suggestion is to include your excellent little walking map between the airport terminal and the hotel in the booking receipt. It's not that easy to find on a cold dark night"

"Friendly staff and good room for people with mobility issues. The cooked breakfast was really good. I was disappointed to hear that they’re stopping food in the hotel as the food was good and it will only be continental breakfast although the pastries were lovely but when you go away a cooked breakfast is always good the next morning."

"Can honestly say this was the nicest low-cost accommodation I've stayed in. Room was huge and the bathroom was lovely. Everything was catered for i.e. towels & hair dryer which you don't necessarily get for places of a similar price. Tea bags with milk were a colossal bonus and were replenished which again is unheard of for the price (in my experience anyway). Only downside was I couldn't thank the owner personally. Honestly 10/10 "
