"Great location to use as base for visiting Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave NP, and the Crazy Horse Memorial. The small kitchenette was well equipped and made it easy to grill out and watch the deer in the evening grazing in the pasture. Enjoyed the front porch swing every morning with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful lodge for our family! Property staff were friendly and accommodating. Other guests were also kind and inviting. Environment was very family-friendly. Love the location, far enough out for forestry/nature vibes but not too far it took forever to travel to town. Nearby to many attractions too! Would definitely book again if taking a future trip! "

"Me and my wife stayed here for a couple of nights after our wedding. It was clean, set up well, had everything we needed and nothing that we didn't. The host is super friendly and responsive, and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub is very simple and cozy, which was perfect for my wife and I to relax in. Will be recommending this place to friends and family, the perfect place for a peaceful weekend away!"

"Beautiful quiet setting! Great place to enjoy nature of the hills and dark skies! Easy access to Hill City. House had everything we needed! Loved the Bluebirds flying around and landing right by us for photo ops! We all decided we should have stayed longer! Really enjoyed traveling even west up to Deerfield Lake a place sort of unknown!
