"We were a bit surprised to arrive and find the doors wide open, but I guess they were just letting in some cooler air! The place was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay! There were lots of amenities there if we had planned to go to the beach, but it was just a resting place for adventures around the island before we went on a cruise. The washer and dryer were nice to have, but the dryer was very loud!"

"This place had everything that we needed. The communal BBQs were great to use, especially the ones along the beach where you could watch the sunset. The laundry within the unit was so helpful (laundry soap provided). The location is a short drive (or walk) to great beaches and farmers markets. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that I wished it had was a little laundry line on the deck to hang beach towels since you can't have them along the railing and there is limited spots...

"We had a wonderful stay! The host was extremely attentive and responsive, making everything smooth from start to finish. The place was spotless and very well maintained, with all the necessities and equipment we needed to fully enjoy the Kona beaches. "We had a fantastic stay. The location was great as it was just off Ali'i drive and we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The view from the upper balcony was fantastic. I was able to view whales swimming by. We had everything we needed to make some meals and even had some amenities for our trip to the beach. The host was responsive when we had questions or concerns. Overall we had a very nice trip, and would recommend this place for small families to stay!"

"A great deal and situated on Alicia drive south of the Kailua-Kona nightlife district. The place was clean and comfortable and very attractively priced. Definitely the Hawaiian Hale experience! The landlord was very nice and obviously invested in our having a pleasant stay. To access the unit younger to climb a stairwell - don't rent this unit if you are unable to handle stairwells or have small (mobile not babies!) children. Perfect for a couple! Classic Hawaiian experience but not the classic...
