"We came in for a show in Luckenbach. Stonewall Motor Lodge was close and a very cool spot. We loved the revitalization of an old motor lodge. The renovations were well done. It was clean and comfy- the bed slept great. AC worked (maybe a little too well!), great hot water, appreciated the tea pods for the Keurig, and the little roof deck made for a great spot to take in the full moon. Would absolutely stay again. "Stunning place with a consistent vibe. Unplug, be present in nature, unbelievable views. We were the only guests at the location that night and everything was perfect. We cooked a small meal on the BBQ, looked up at the amazing night sky, made a fire in the wood stove because it got chilly out, used the electric blanket and watched the sunset. "My recent stay at this location was very satisfying. The gentleman attendee in reception was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, cool and the beds were very comfortable. The weather did not permit us fo enjoy the lake which is walking distance from the hotel. But all in all I had an enjoyable time at Canyon Lake. I would love to go back to enjoy the lake."
