"We were looking for a place to stay for the night outside of Hilo while exploring that side of the island. This little cottage is clean, spacious and directly across the road from a beautiful, secluded black sand beach. It was magical! We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy it for a longer stay. "As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. The nature sounds were amazing. Eating every meal on the lanai was lovely. The kids fought over who got to sleep on the lanai. "We chose this lovely home because it is relatively close to volcanoes NP and Hilo, and because the multiple bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and two teens. The tropical jungle forest surrounds the property. It is a couple minutes walk down to a gorgeous black sand beach.
