"The hotel is cheap and you get exactly what you pay for. Don't book if you are expecting room service and everything to be perfect. Some rooms have faulty lights. Some have glasses and some don't. It's not perfection but I defy you to show me better in Aberdeen for £29 - £34 a night! A few ideas for the hotel chain. Increase your price by £5 and scrap the annoying parking charge? Open up the bar for crying out loud! You will make more money and please more guests! Try to be a bit more consistent...

"Hotel looks tired and run down. There was clearly no heating on throughout the building with rooms having plug in electrical heaters. We had to reject our first room because the window was not sealed properly and a breeze was blowing through the gaps in the frame. Reception did move us rooms quickly to a room with a sealed window. Overall the cost was nice and cheap but even at the rate paid we did feel the building was showing signs of being a little run down."

"The bed was rock hard, so if you need to sleep on something VERY firm, you’ll like that. Also, the hot water button for my shower kept popping back up, resulting in spurts of cold water while showering, which was just annoying. Great water pressure though. Staff were warm and helpful. The location is very central to a lot of the sights."

"No amenities and no one to speak with. I received text messages & messages through Expedia from hotel, yet when I reached out in this same fashion there was no response. The property is clean. Somewhat noisy area, although close to most things. Not truly a hotel. "

"The hotel was very clean, the rooms were cleaned every day. The food was excellent, with a great choice. The staff were amazing, they were helpful, professional and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the Manager couldn't have been more kind, they made you feel at home. Fabulous place to stay"

"Staff were excellent very helpful and very friendly. Room was lovely , shower smelled strongly of bleach. By day 2 drain on shower was very smelly this is probably why it had been bleached. Bed was very comfortable and room had good amenities micro wave, fridge , safe, nice selection of teas etc. breakfast was a bit disappointing we booked in for 9am food was cold and some items overcooked . We would consider visiting again"
