"One of the bestest hotels I’ve stayed in worldwide. We had a room with a private onsen attached. It was exceptionally well appointed and clean hotel. The views from the rooftop on Sun or exceptional. The staff even pointed out a private entrance that we could use to avoid traveling through the lobby. The room also came with a set of pajamas, plush robes, and yukatas. "

"If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, do it, you won’t regret it. This was hands down the best accommodation we stayed at in Japan. The service from Ryota and the entire team was exceptional and truly made our stay special. The location is ideal. Peaceful and quiet, yet with easy access to the bus. The amenities were beautiful and thoughtfully designed. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto."

"Air conditioning was great the staff efficient but there was a language issue since I do not speak much Japanese. Hotel is close to market great shopping also close to gf restaurants. Near a bus stop. Also Short walking distance to larger shoppers stores. The only drawback is the for two people the room was crowded and it took a while to charge electronics."

"I've stayed in some of the world's best hotels, and this one is a real gem. I would definitely stay here again. Special shout-out to the amazing staff and the room breakfast, very nicely presented, proportioned and absolutely delicious. The bathtub is so deep and the shower is great. The bed is like a cloud. Very good location, within walking distance of many points of interest in Kyoto, and easy transport links. Thank you so much for making our stay a highlight of our trip to Kyoto"

"The rooms and staff are amazing, so I plan on staying here again. The bathtubs with fizzy bubbles are kind of a gimmick, especially if you are used to strong jacuzzi’s. Really liked the room delivered breakfast (breakfast in bed!), but the “Western” breakfast has a strong Japanese influence to it. "
