Amazing location and views! Charming oceanfront bungalow with remodeled bathrooms and kitchen, including granite counters. Tile floors throughout the house. Easy walk to sandy beach. Enjoy soaking in oceanfront hot tub on lanai. There are two master suites (one is oceanfront) and a bunk room. The house is equipped with solar, Wi-Fi and large flat screen TV.

So much to say about this property. Absolutely perfect place for a relaxing family weekend. Communication was fantastic and the host was always happy to help with suggestions and answering our questions. The location cannot be beat in Kona. The view allowed us to see Turtles, a Monk Seal, multiple humpbacks and a ton of spinner dolphins. It was a very short walk to a great beach for snorkeling and lounging with our kids. Would 100% recommend

Highly recommend and loved this place, especially the tasteful and consistent design choices. Just made us feel at home and yet hotel-pampered. The photos are accurate, if anything they undersell how large the main room is, especially the TV area. This is also one of the best stocked VRBOs we ever rented. Kitchen had tin foil, olive oil, balsamic, etc. Costco-sized shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer. Plus reef safe sunscreen! To help you indulge in the small private sand backyard. Plus multiple luggage racks! Never seen that before. The two main bedrooms are so luxe there was a debate among us which was the master bedroom. Ralph was very responsive and accommodating. He allowed us to enter an hour early upon our request. And check out instructions were simple and not demanding. Some caveats to note. Sleeps 10 but comfortably that would be two couples and six kids. 10 adults should involve grownups with a high tolerance for a shared space. The house is on a busy road and making lefts out of the driveway will put you on your toes. And regrettably, like much of Hawaii, recycling is for the extra-environmentally conscious as in you would need to drive to a center and drop off cans, plastic, glass yourself. And who does that?

Beautiful ocean front home

The property/house is incredible. Great location and the views are absolutely stunning. The house is very nicely appointed as well. Sunsets from the back patio were quite enjoyable and the kids enjoyed the sand area off the back of the house immensely. Located about 1/2 mile from two quality snorkeling locations that are walkable or a very short drive (we drove.). Check in was a breeze. A/c worked well and the house was cool/comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Our third vacation on the Big Island

A getaway for our anniversary including our best friends from high school. Had a beautiful relaxing time in this home. Everything we could have needed was available. Sunset dinners with grilled fish every night, never even felt the desire to eat out. Our hostess Kelly was super quick to answer any question. We read reviews before booking and can honestly see why this home consistently gets a 10/10 review.

Fabulous location and views

The ocean view is absolutely phenomenal. We saw it all - whales were cooperating nicely and gave us quite a show. The house is very comfortable and very clean. We cooked in every night of our 6 day stay and found everything we needed - a very well stocked kitchen. Out host was super responsive and pleasant to work with. Fabulous vacation!

Hawaii Family Vacation

A beautiful property with everything a family would need for a great week in Hawaii — particularly a beautiful, well stocked kitchen with all kitchen implements you need.The property was beautiful and the location/view could not be better. Waves splash up daily for viewing and surfers can be seen from the shaded porch.Would highly recommend!

We loved staying at this incredible property. The amenities were top notch. The views were spectacular. We particularly enjoyed watching the whales. Quick stroll to snorkeling and surfing.

Shhh don’t tell anyone about this gem.

We LOVED our stay. Actually I think it might be the best short term rental we have ever stayed at. Beautifully decorated and well stocked. The view however is the best part! So stunning! We called in a private chef because we just didn’t want to leave.

Birthday

Enjoyed ocean view and sand "box" (for grandson). Nice layout of house (perfect for parties) and provided amenities. Very accessible for Jenny (though public transportation on island is VERY POOR and wheelchair vans are VERY expensive) so closer proximity to shopping and restaurants would be nice (not a problem obviously for able people). The little signs and info book were very helpful. If we had a similar event in Hawaii we would consider booking again.

We had an incredible stay on the Big Island! The location was amazing, offering breathtaking views that quickly became our favorite part of the trip. The decor, highlighted by the stunning Serena and Lily wallpaper, added a fabulous touch to the ambiance. The owners were fantastic—communication was swift and effortless, making the entire experience smooth. Without a doubt, this stay deserves a perfect 10/10 rating in every aspect. Beautiful Location

We held our Executive Retreat for 10 people here, and no one stayed over, so I can't review the sleeping arrangements. The group really enjoyed their time at the property. There was plenty of seating inside and out and there's a great feel to the house. Takes a minute or two to figure out the fans and A/C unit controls, but that's not a big thing. We would definitely book again!

Amazing location and views!

Although there are aspects of this house that could be improved (ie drawers that open properly, a step-stool to get into the insanely high beds...), the view compensates for any shortcomings the house might have-absolutely stunning!

The good and the bad

This is a great home in a good location. Off the back patio we saw whales, dancing dolphins and of course those beautiful sunsets. Nice BBQ and table on the patio to eat the spearfish we caught. The problem this house has is the noise from Ali’i Drive. We have stayed on Ali’i Drive several times and we are very familiar with the traffic. Unlike our previous stays, this house has windows at the roof line which can’t be closed. This allows the traffic noise directly into the house, which begins about 4:30 in the morning with people going to work and continues all day into the evening. The noise is the worst in master #2 and the living area. Closing both doors into master #1 pretty much gets rid of the noise there, but we needed two masters which is one of the reasons we rented this home. After trying to tolerate the noise for a couple of weeks, I asked the host how the windows could be closed. She said they couldn’t, but suggested trying ear plugs, as that’s what she does. We spent an entire month at the house and the noise pretty much spoiled the vacation. For being one of the highest priced places on Ali’i Drive we expected something better.

👍Lovely peaceful home with beautiful views. Comfortable beds and lots of little extras, like plenty of beach towels and snorkel gear. We wanted for nothing and thank the owners for their attention to detail.

Sound of the ocean mesmerizing

Lovely house, great location. Ample amenities. They have thought about the needs of the guests.Climate in summer difficult if you are not good with heat and humidity. Snorkeling off the house is for STRONG swimmers only.

Island paradise that was perfect for the whole family

Wonderful house, wonderful sunsets, wonderful outdoor patio. Inside well furnished. Kitchen perfect for family meals every night (bought all the food at Costco) and all the college and high school students were very happy. Both beaches in walking distance. All the kids (3 in college, 2 in high school) loved the house. Rented 2 cars with easy parking. Made excursions very easy to Southern Point and Mauna Kea as well as frequent jaunts to Kona and local markets. Will definitely come back!

Great Family Retreat

Overall, we loved the location. We love to go fishing and we were able to fish right in the back of the property. Check in and out was a breeze. Our host Angela was awesome. She had great communication from when we arrived on island to the time we left. I would definitely recommend this rental. We will be back!
