  • This amazing 2 bedroom with ocean view from the lanai is the PERFECT spot for your Vacation.
    Sea Village reflects the tranquil beauty of the Big Island. The resort is centrally located 1 mile from restaurants and shops on Famous Ali'i Drive.

    Air Conditioning is only available in the Living Room & Master Bedroom as Portable AC units. There is no AC unit in the Guest Twin Bedroom.

    The pool area is located beside the sea wall, so guests can enjoy a peaceful swim just steps away from the crashing surf. Hot tub, Communal BBQ area and Tennis Court available for guest use!

    Kona town is just a short drive from Sea Village Kona. Kona town offers a large choice of restaurants, stores and art galleries. Most of the Big Island activities depart from Kona town.

We enjoyed our stay. This location is very convenient. We found a good snorkeling beach 10 min south and manta tours 15 min south. We loved how close it was to things we wanted to do in the area. The complex is ocean front and we enjoyed the sunset views at the pool. The pool and hot tub were great. The complex has very nice common areas and landscaping. The condo has lots of extras such as a closet full of beach equipment - chairs, sand toys, snorkeling. We appreciated all the hooks to hang swimsuits and towels. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was well equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Everything was very clean when we arrived and we had good communication with the manager. There were a few things that could be improved. It was 81 degrees in the unit when we arrived and took a whole day to cool to down. The air conditioning is on a 4 hour timer and so you have to keep turning it back on. If you turn it off the condo gets hot quickly. This was an annoyance in the night as I appreciated the white noise and was awoken by it stopping, plus I like to sleep in a cool room. The second bedroom without a/c was not usable so my kids slept in the living room to stay cool. The living room is quite large so there was room for them to pull the mattresses in and sleep there. The sofa bed in the living room has a sign that it’s broken. We appreciated the extra fans in the complex. They were helpful to stay cool.

Sea Village

Sea Village is a great place to stay. Wonderful pool and bbq area. Plus is a great location, easy walk into town for restaurants and shopping.

Nice and comfortable stay

Our stay was comfortable. Everything was clean. A mile walk to restaurants and shops so the location was good. View from the patio was nice. Overall a good choice while we were in Kona.

Beautiful & Convenient

This location is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to the restaurants and bars. Easy drive to grocery store and Kona airport. Definitely recommend to go to the pool area to see the sunset. And if looking for what’s around to do, look at the notebook in the living room area. I highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice Condo & Property - would Stay there again

We were very impressed with our unit and the overall property. The unit had very nice furnishings and was very tastefully decorates. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Two minor things: We were surprised that the unit did not have more supplies such as hand soap, toilet paper and paper towels. We were supplied one time with toilet paper. After that, we were told that more supplies were not available due to the terms of the contract. We were taken by surprise and went out and purchased our own. We have never had to do that at any property we have ever stayed at. So this took us by surprise, but it worked out okay. Another item of concern: They dryer picks up quite a bit of lint which is a good thing. We never realized how much lint collects underneath the screen in the lint door. After removing the white screen and the second wire screen, I went in an removed lots and lots of lint. This was after I had cleaned the lint door the day before. I'm just mentioning this as a safety precaution. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not. A major item of concern is that we did not have a major functioning air conditioning unit in the back bedroom and are requesting this gets resolved for future guests. The chairs and table on the patio are quite flimsy. The chairs are also hard to sit on. Other than that, we had a marvelous stay. The view from the deck was beautiful, and the room was beautiful. We would stay there again. T

We were so hopeful in this rental. We liked the area. The look from the outside was good. When we went inside we were happy. When we got ready for bed we noticed bugs in one of the bedrooms in the beds. It was 8pm at night. We tried numerous numbers that were given to us to contact in case of emergency. There was no help to be given. They said they would send someone to spray for bug the next day. The individual that was supposed to sleep in that room had a to sleep on a chair in the living room. They came while we were not there and determined that they were not bed bugs so they did nothing. We had to go buy bug spray ourself. The bugs ended up in the other room in our suitcases and then all over the kitchen cabinets. We are not new to visiting the Islands. We have never had this problem before, Definetly frustrated with the lack of concern and help in dealing with the problem. And beware that if it is after hours there is no one to do anything. There is also no free concierge. Could not get ahold of anyone with the information given.

Beautiful location, Condo needs some serious updates.

Grounds and pool area are incredible. The condo itself is in much need of repairs and the twin beds were extremely tired. Couch is stained and found used socks and unmarked medication left in bedroom top dresser.

Perfect location

Great place to stay. Very clean upon arrival. The condo had everything we needed except beach towels. The snorkeling gear and boogie boards were nice to have available. There was even a small supply of water shoes. The location of the condo is perfect.

Location is Perfect

While I cannot give this property 5 stars, it does get a solid 4. If we were heading back to Kona I could stay here again but I would adjust my expectations. We loved the location and property. It is walkable to downtown but far enough out that the traffic and noise are not an issue. The property is very well maintained with grounds that are beautiful. It is a very quiet property with fairly strict rules about quiet hours and public spaces which we appreciate. The pool area is very clean, quiet and has a wonderful view of the ocean and evening sunsets. The condo was also very clean and tastefully decorated. Here are the things we struggled with. First of all, if the fact that it says there is A/C is pushing you towards a yes, you should think twice. We really wanted a unit with A/C this trip because the humidity is so high in July. We just wanted to be able to cool the bedrooms so we could sleep. The master bedroom had a really old A/C unit that took the edge off however, we could never get it below 78 which is still pretty hot for sleeping. The worst was the extra bedroom. We had our teen daughters with us. Their room did NOT have any A/C unit at all. The room is tucked in the back corner of the condo and we could not figure out how to cool the space down. We tried fans, opening the windows at different times of day, and we could not make any progress. It was so hot that we finally moved the twin mattresses to the living room floor near the other A/C unit and they slept there. This was a pretty desperate measure and not one that seems reasonable for future renters. Even then, the A/C unit in the living room was not adequate for the size of the space and the high temps so it also barely took the edge off. They slept, but not well. I guess that brings us to the mattresses and linens. The mattresses need an update. It wasn't worn out, it was just poor quality and very bumpy. The girls reported that both twin mattresses were pretty uncomfortable. The bottom sheet in the master had no elasticity left so it constantly came off the bed corners. The twin sheets were inexpensive microfiber which also sleep really hot. We were booked for 7 nights and felt like the consumables were poorly stocked. There was half a roll of paper towels on the holder, one extra roll of TP and two dish tabs. We had a rental car so we were able to make a grocery run but typically our VRBO stays have been better supplied for extended stays. We still enjoyed our trip!

Kailua Kona Trip

We had a great stay at this older condo with easy access to pool with ocean view. This is an older condo unit but they have up dated it with paint and some portable ac units and over all its a very clean, well stocked in the kitchen, has lots bath towels and linens. In my opinion the Guest bedroom with the two twin beds needs its own portable AC unit or window AC, as this was the only room that didn't have one and it got real hot and muggy in there at night. Kona is humid and hot so the extra fans and Ceiling fans that are at the condo helped to make every ones stay more comfortable. In the listing is doesn't mention that the sofa in the living room is a sofa sleeper but it is so the condo sleeps 6 people comfortably. As well the listing fails to mention that there are a couple boogie boards, some snorkel gear and some older beach chairs for renter use during the stay and this would have made me pick this place over others faster. The only down side we found was that in the master bedroom the hard wood bed frame stuck out like 6 inches further than that of the mattress and therefore my husband smacked his knee on the corner of the frame each time he went to his side of the bed to get in bed especially since the long bed comforter covered where the actual corner bed frame was. Other than that all was good.
