"Cute older house with plenty of room right at the edge of downtown and the ferry dock. Drove onto the Victoria ferry and the trip was great. Got hassled and searched on the Canadian side that put a damper on the day. Buchart Gardens well worth the trip."

"Very convenient location ... easy walk via staircase to downtown area; drive to Olympic Natl Park/ Hurricane Ridge. Free breakfast at Quality Inn across the street offered a variety of hot & cold options. Beds were super comfortable. House was very clean. The kitchen had basic items, but there was no cutting board. Overall, it was a great value & good location."

"This is a fantastic property in top shape. Yes, usually people come to this area to visit the many interesting attractions at the Olympic National Park and so did we. But next time we will for sure dedicate a couple of days just staying on this property, enjoy the awesome lake view, and sit on the deck to chill! "

"Property is very walkable to the shopping areas and shore of town. Property makes access to the National Park easy. House is nice and neighborhood is quiet. My daughters (17 -24) really loved the place."

"This place is awesome. We chose to spend the entirety of our stay at the house and it did not disappoint. We swam, fished and just enjoyed the nature around us. The neighbors also came by and were real friendly . The house was clean and just the right size for our family. "

"2 adults and 1 kiddo (1st grader) stayed for 5 nights next to beautiful Lake Sutherland. Hot tub was wonderful. Barbecue was great to use. LOVED paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards! (Bring your own life vests) for a cool paddle try paddling west all the way to the creek at the end of the lake, you can paddle down aways in kayaks. The house was great for family of 3, appreciated small plates and kids DVDs. Wifi worked without any issues. Port Angeles was 20 min drive for any grocery needs....

"This place has it all for water views and lake access. The house is very comfortable with many options for relaxing indoors and outdoors. Two docks and kayaks add to the fun! We had a really great time."

"Very nice property and great communication, but I came down with Covid the day before our visit and Kim would not allow us to cancel. This left a bad taste. So we either had to forfeit our fee or else drive all the way to Port Angeles to quarantine. But the place is fantastic"

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Blue Haven on Lake Sutherland! The house served all of our needs as a gateway to long hiking adventures in Olympic National Park each day. Our host was fast and responsive to any inquiries and the check-in/check-out process was hassle-free. We loved being right on the lake and spent our mornings with coffee on the dock and evenings rowing around the cove. Hope to venture back one day!"

"This tiny house was amazing. Actually very spacious for a tiny home, plenty of beds for our large group. Fridge is very big and has lots of room. Definitely wish we had stayed more than one night. "

"My Mom and I had a great stay here! The space is so cozy/private, bed was comfortable, and the outdoor patio was lovely to hang out on and drink coffee on sunny mornings and grill our dinner at night. The hosts were responsive, kind and left lots of good recommendations for the area in a binder. There’s a public park area in front of the house that has great views of Port Angeles, and a zig zag path just steps away that leads to the main downtown area. We will definitely be back soon!"

"We really enjoyed our stay - particularly the view of the lake, hanging out on the dock and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The cabin was also very clean upon our arrival. The only issue we experienced was weak water pressure, but this may just be a nuance with "cabin-living". "
