"The cabin has the bare minimum in the way of furniture, decor, linens, etc. A little bit more effort in making it more inviting and cozy would go a long way. There are no curtains or blinds, barely enough linens for the futon (which is counted as a bed), no utensils, nothing on the walls, no bedroom or closet door. It could be a very cute place with a little effort. "

"Check-in process was easy. Molly was super fast at responding. House was precious and the perfect cozy cottage. We enjoyed using the kayaks that were provided and hanging out on the floating dock. Will definitely be booking here again!"

"As first I was a little skeptical about the location being in the middle of town and on the main street, but after staying I wouldn't hesitate coming back. You can park in the back yard with plenty area and close the gate behind you. The house must be well insulated because the road noise in nonexistent. "We loved this property in Ruston, Louisiana! This was a new listing, so we didn't fully know what to expect since there were no prior reviews... A collective "Wow!" is what we said when we opened those doors!! :) We were having a homecoming reunion, so we rented both units (A and B). We were thrilled with the amount of space that provided us, and we loved the modern look and feel of the place! We will be pppp! Thanks to the host for everything! PJ"

"My daughter and I visited Ruston for the Dixie World Series tournament and stayed at this beautiful property. It checked all of the boxes for a great experience-conveniently located, nice amenities, and a great property manager. Bradley was awesome with his communication and answered any questions that we had about our stay, before and during. Check-in was seamless. Kitchen and bathroom were extremely nice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay in downtown Ruston! We will be back!"

"My family loved PawPaw’s Place from the minute we topped the hill! We needed a place to recharge before school started back and we didn’t want to travel far and this place exceeded all of our expectations!
