"This property was amazing! Nestled in the mountains with breath taking views! Maggie was a great host and responded quickly to all my questions. The cabin is so cute and spacious and was plenty of room for my family! This was a bucket list vacation for my husband! We enjoyed iur visit and will definitely book again!"

Pros: well-stocked kitchen and pantry with everything you need, lots of games & activities for kids, plenty of towels, extra beddings, guide to local area, kind, easy-going host, cute dogs. Cons: the space has definitely seen better days, is due a deep clean (dusty corners and decor, stained floor mats and carpets, etc), queen bed sagging in the middle. "

"When I read the reviews for this cabin, one review stood out to me. The review stated that cabin had all the comforts of home. This is so true, the cabin is very well equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. I am a bit of a perfectionist and this cabin met all my expectations plus some. The host is very accommodating. If you want to take a trip to Ponderosa, book this cabin for a great stay."

"We love Kernville for the biking and rafting and small town feel. The house was well located within a mile of town and was super clean. Plenty of room for 5 guys. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard too. Highly recommend "

"This was a great house. Lots of beds, great kitchen, nice dining area, cool backyard and hot tub, and such a short walk to the little town area and rafting. I kinda wish we had planned more time to utilize the pool table, hot tub and lounge space. Only negatives I would say are it needs a kettle for preparing tea, and is due for a deep cleaning (it was overall neat and clean, but had some dusty surfaces and window sills, some sticky shelves in the kitchen cabinets, etc)!But again, great stay and...

"The property was decorated with mid century cabin charm inside and outside the garden area had distinct seating spaces to enjoy whether you wanted to dine alfresco, take a siesta in the hammock or chill on the patio listening to the river flow. All the amenities were high quality and plentiful. I wish we could have the bed shipped home it was so comfortable. I would stay there again without hesitation. "
