"My husband and I stayed in this home for our annual anniversary trip. We love hiking and brought our dog with us for some active relaxation. This home was one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

"We were a small group of friends catching up over a reunion weekend. The house was perfect for us- clean, spacious, and with a very well stocked kitchen! Even better than the photos.The area and property itself are lovely, very quiet and peaceful. We even saw some deer walk by the dining room windows! We enjoyed the board games and the screened porch as well. Great communication with the host and an easy check-in/check-out. We are already hoping to stay again next year!"

"We had a family summer get together, and this very unique home was just perfect! So fun and filled with so many unique experiences without leaving the property!! Fishing, relaxing in the hot tub, picking wild berries, putting our feet in the stream, having morning coffee on the deck and amazing dinners that were fun to prepare in the gourmet kitchen!! We hope to return!!"

While the kitchen is a bit outdated, it still had everything we needed for preparing meals. The location was fantastic - close to everything we wanted to explore. "This is a perfect oasis for large gatherings to have an absolute blast together! The host was extremely communicative, accommodating, and helpful prior and during our stay. The house is just gorgeous, as is the lake view. We enjoyed the commodities, especially the paddle boards. Highly recommend for your next big family vacation! Beautiful, stress-free, amazing experience!!!!"
