Great Service, But Not Worth the Price
I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel and honestly found it to be pretty mediocre overall.
The building itself looks old and a bit run-down, definitely not what you’d expect for the rates they charge. The view from the room was also disappointing—nothing scenic or particularly pleasant to look at, which took away from the overall experience.
For the price, I expected a lot more. The rooms and amenities feel average at best. You’re paying a premium, but the hotel doesn’t deliver on the luxury or comfort you’d hope for at that level.
That said, the customer service was outstanding across the board. Every staff member we interacted with—from the front desk to housekeeping—was professional, kind, and eager to help. The restaurants were also a highlight: great food, excellent presentation, and attentive service.
If you’re booking purely for the dining experience and warm hospitality, you might enjoy your stay. But if you’re looking for great views, modern rooms, and overall value, this hotel may fall short.
