- check in was difficult since our host failed to include front door code in check-in instructions, we had to contact Brandon for door code- door code did not work upon exiting the property and we had to use Brandon's back up method (actual keys)to secure our property- Brandon said he'd send someone to fix the front door lock, that never happened- no shampoo or soap in the shower- broken ice maker and water dispenser in fridge- window blinds broken and filthy- ottoman ripped up- couch in living room uncomfortable and no side tables to place beverages on- no futon as mentioned on website, just a bunkbed- other beds with lumpy mattresses made sleeping miserable- shower curtain filthy and stained- bedroom door closet door was unattached, just leaning against a wall- no guest instructions in the home- backyard was dirt with a few weeds- couch was so dirty we used towels to sit on- excessive dirt and grime on both porches- 'outdoor furniture' as advertised consisted of two folding chairs and an ashtrayWe are frequent users of VRBO and have never had a bad experience like this one. We regret staying there and hope VRBO can de-list this property so that other users don't have to suffer this experience. It's not up to VRBO standards.We are asking for a refund due to inconvenience and the many reasons as listed above.We have plenty of pictures to back-up our complaints.

The property was very welcoming. It had everything we could need and was dog friendly too. Brandon was especially helpful with any concerns or questions. He really took care of us. Thanks for such a nice stay in your beautiful city. We stayed 2 nights and it could have been more.

This was a mixed bag. The house was pretty clean but there was definitely animal smell, The towels smelled sweet and clean but, were dingy and had holes. Several folding doors were off the tracks, the ottoman was torn in several places. There was a basket with kitchen necessities. Doggie bags were included, which I thought was a super nice touch. The pans that I used were spotless. There were filled ice trays in the freezer ready to go. I received no check in directions until I requested when I was getting onto the island. Brandon answered almost immediately. The lock was super easy to use.The house was close to downtown and we felt safe in it.Overall, there was nothing truly wrong with the house.

Wonderful getaway

Wonderful place for a Christmastime getaway. Central location to shops, restaurants, beach, & historic downtown. Neighborhood was quiet & fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog. Host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place for Thanksgiving week!!

Host was very attentive to everything when needed. Quiet neighborhood and huge fenced in backyard for our pets. Bedrooms are closer together than expected but larger than what we thought. My family and I loved this place and would stay here again

Birthday weekend

It is an older home, it is kept clean, could use some kind of air freshner for the dog smell. Lots of room. The outside doors need to be fixed. They stick especially the door to the backyard. If my husband wasn't there i would have not been able to get outside. Quite neighborhood except for some street noise. Host was very nice and answered questions qtimely and quickly. Overall a nice stay.

Home away from home!

Our family had to evacuate our home due to Hurricane Helene and we chose this place, Brandon was such a great and thoughtful host, he is a quick communicator if you need him, and house was amazing! Would definitely stay again!!

It had a large fenced lot for the dogs. The fence was 6ft nice and private. It was an older home so it had some quirks. But it was remodeled nicely and well stocked.

Vacation

We had an amazing stay. The house had everything we needed and was extremely clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities and streaming tv services. Great location, just a few minutes from the beach. Didn't want our trip to end. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
