"Enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were nice. Bed very comfy, bathrooms not great, but very clean. Had some issues with communications at the onset but they got better with our stay. Location is very nice for families or people wanting a lake experience. We wanted to go downtown and that was a jaunt."

"In town for our son's wedding. Not being from Minnesota, we had no idea of town names. Manor on the River was an absolute perfect for our stay. Champlin was close to all events and there are stores close by for any items not packed. The house itself is simply stunning. We had 14 people, including 2 little ones, and everyone had plenty if room. The park across the street was an added bonus. "We found this gem of a house to stay at the night before my daughters wedding at White and Sable. It beat renting several hotel rooms. We had the bride and bridesmaids stay with me the night before the wedding and I stayed with my son and fiancé the night of the wedding. It was an 8 min drive to/from the venue. Wished we could have enjoyed more of the amenities on the property. "

"We were attending a family wedding in Scandia, but also visiting with relatives in the Twin Cities. This charming Forest Lake cottage was the perfect escape from all of the activity. It had everything we needed for our stay. Its location near the lake was ideal for relaxing walks and exploring the local area. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and truly enjoyable. "This was such a cute little cabin. Please know that the pirmary bedroom is just a bed in a room without much room for anything else. This was more than fine for me. The view of the lake and sitting out of the dock was wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing. "

"An absolutely delightful place, minutes from any place you want to be in the Elk River region. Tucked in the trees along the water. Cozy, warm, comfortable, amenities and decorations are spot on. You won’t want to leave. We will definitely be headed back. We can’t say it enough nice things about the place and the hosts. You can tell how much they love the space just by being there. I’m delighted they are sharing that with us through VRBO."

Vintage is accurate description right down to the dust mites in the bed,I have a bad allergy to them and ended up in Urgent care Sunday of our stay to get treatment. "We stayed in this home with a handful of friends while visiting town for a snowmobile race and everything went well. Neat private location just off the beaten path, home was clean and well cared for!"

"The check-in process was easy. The house was decent. There are not photos of all the bedrooms and bathrooms online, and I now wish I would have asked for that because the basement was less than desirable with bunk beds and a shower designed for a child (small). We had to use a hotel in addition to the home. I wouldn't call it great, but its not bad either."
