The highlights for us were the private decks and lake views, direct lake access, and the large supply of lake gear that included life jackets, water shoes, a large water mat and a baby float. With several small children, this safety gear enabled us to take all the kids into the lake. The kids enjoyed it so much. "Home has a beautiful view, great space for family and a yard to play. Owners tske the time to call and communicate prior to check in and presented friendly. The only issue I had was the bed's were not all inside rooms, but in common areas. Not sure if there was a baetter way to break this down. We will definitely look at using this home again in the future. "

"The house was lovely and well appointed. It was clean and we really only needed to bring food and beach towels for our stay. They even left us smores fixings. Our favorite part was the back deck that looked out over the water. It was nice to sit out there in the mornings, play games, and use the fire pit. "We really enjoyed this house. The owners were very responsive and the area was quiet and relaxing. The house was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all the essentials (and more) that we needed. It was well decorated and furniture was all very comfortable. The WiFi worked excellent. Would definitely stay again!"

"Husband and I had to be out of state on short notice and preferred to not stay in a hotel. Found this AMAZING getaway, close enough to where we needed to be, yet at the end of the day wonderful relaxing nights. Quiet, beautiful, best sleep I have had in years! Campfire at night and work up to deer and turkey visits in the morning. We will be back! "

"Cute cabin. Quiet and peaceful setting. Didn't see another person while we were there. Very close to Squire Boone Caverns and less than an hour from Marengo. "

"We love our stay there we were there for I days and they were well worth it! Michelle and Bud are great if we ever had any questions they were there to answer ever question and even told us places we can go! "

"We had the best long weekend! The home was gorgeous and very very clean. It was decorated beautifully. It was stoked with all essentials. The hostess was so kind and so easy to communicate with. We rented a boat at Nick’s. We had a great day on the lake. We will definitely be back!"

"What a beautiful house and property! Darrell, the host, is a great, hard working person who we really enjoyed talking with. The house and property met our needs and allowed for us to have a great family vacation. Do keep in mind that you are located in the middle of nature so there will be lots of bugs and wildlife. The fresh eggs and other surprises that Darrell brought us made our trip even a little more special. "

"Our boys LOVED catching fish, swimming in the first class pool and all the animals on the property. The view of the Ohio Really was spectacular. Accommodations were clean and more than adequate. The “kids” table was popular. Our host was gracious. Our only complaint was that all the couches and chairs were very uncomfortable-difficult to sit and enjoy conversation."
