"Great property, the walls are a little thin. Some of the provided amenities are a bit worn - coffee maker leaked, there was partially visible grafitti on the gas fireplace, somewhat dirty door, but the view of apollo bay more than made up for it. I would stay again and the guests i brought were absolutely blown away."

"Beautiful property and stunning views. Easy driving distance to shops and Apollo Bay. Contactless entry and exit. Business owners were very helpful when I rang. Would highly recommend."

"It’s a very pretty cottage. I personally think Garry and Sharyn did an amazing job to upkeep and maintain the condition of the property, given it was built back in 1800s. We stayed at Maids Quarter, which is 2 bed, separate kitchen, lounge room, and bathroom, very spacious and well equipped. The atmosphere is quiet and idyllic. Would like to come back for longer stay."

"Fantastic winter break. Fire for the parents whilst drinking wine and doing a jigsaw and the kids watched some Netflix or did drawing, all between some nice walks and adventures out and about. Lovely garden, if a bit cold and wet to truely enjoy. Forrest also looks like a nice place to bring a mountain bike (when less wet or cold). Wish I had the skills to enjoy the resident piano.Hosts provided excellent communication and a lovely well appointed house."

"Right from the booking to departure everything ran smooth and very well organised by matty. A great hidden gem for a romantic getaway well concealed and hidden from the outter world and a true point of privacy at its best even great for a family of 4. It has everything you need and provided truley a marvel."

"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...
